I've just started playing again (last time I played was shortly after tonks beta was announced) and jesus christ has this game evolved.
One question though: are user skins serverside? Because I read they were clientside only when they were first released but I'm not sure if that ever changed.

Clientside only. Normal skin + damaged skin + all the other thingies = about 20mb * 32 maximum players = mein dialup, it ist kaputt

I won't believe this without extensive proof.
Coulda sworn I posted it before in here. The biggest bitch part is extracting the cockpit dash files piece-by-piece from the asset view. Then you just upscale them, tell the skin to replace the right file, and you're done.

Last night I got an air to air kill for the first time ever in a cannon Stuka. A P-40 was coming head on at my so I just started spraying at him and one lucky round blew up his engine.
Also any tips for the spaghetti bomber? It's my only German plane that still has free repairs.

I left the xcf's (gimp master race 2014) in there if you wish to edit it or make a crack at the normal file.
I removed the strings for any other texture from the little .blk files, so if you want to mix it with a custom skin, you'll have to add those back in.
Of course now, Mega is fucking refusing to work even though I like it so much. Using the latest firefox. So.. yep. Gimme a minute.
