At one point in the past, either in this thread or the WoT thread, someone posted a clip of a WW2 movie. It showed Americans vs Japanese, and I believe in the scene/clip that is commonly posted, the Japanese troops are surrendering, and there might have been shallow water in the middle. It basically showed a bunch of Japanese troops being killed after they had already been defeated. Anyone know/remember what I'm referring to?

So, on Jungles, the bots can end up underwater, where they die horribly. Great AI, much help.
in my experience the bots don't die they just stay there creating the track effects on the surface

Visual hits are clientside, so dont rely on them as an indicator of actually hitting your target, rely on the reward text popping up

The last two are originally british. Think Australia used them at some point but they dont count, otherwise lots of other planes would like the Spitfires, P40s and Shooting Stars.

Today on: [I]War Thunder's AI is pretty goddamn dumb[/I], I managed to lead 5 Fury biplanes from the forward airfield to the rear airfield (the one with AA) in a slow, crippled Catalina. Shot down 2 of them in flight and led the last 3 into a delicious honey trap of flak and certain death.
Meanwhile, in the game I just played, landed a critically damaged plane on a runway before being strafed by three AI that suddenly materialised above the airfield.

The only thing I liked about that was the tank, the characters look about as one-dimensional as a sheet of ricepaper. That and that trailer probably spoiled the whole movie for me :v:

Yeah but the Beaufort/that one Beaufighter are specifically in Aussie livery and I believe count as Australian for event purposes.
I distinctly recall them not counting towards British plane kills in the Tonk cbt events

Way, way, WAY back in the day of Nation Ranks, it was possible to get ranks for Australia by doing solo/custom missions with most of those planes you just listed.
