Going from the BearcatB with a 30 degree climb up to 5km to the P80 with a 15 degree climb at sea level, while barely even climbing, is pretty disheartening.

On the plus side, you can both out run enemies as well as climb. Something prop planes can not do.

PB4Y has as many guns able to shoot normal approaches. It can't defend itself underneath as well due to the lack of a ball turret, but it's deadly everywhere else.
Oh.. and it gets bombs. So it's useful on both fronts. :v:

The side blisters can rotate down though, so the effective blind spot under the plane is very small

Yup! But as far as I know, the YB-40 had no blind spots. The PB4Y has it directly underneath, letting players loiter or ram you from that location.
It's the fact it can still play a role with bombs versus the YB-40 being a hovering gunship that people will just avoid until they can come back with rockets that makes the PB4Y a better addition.

A-26C gets 14. They're already modeled and rigged up in game, but I don't think it's an unlocked payload. Like the torpedoes for the A-20G.
