>Seal clubbing >Arcade. >lost 2 planes >wat
>greentexting [sp]I got rammed into ;_;[/sp] [editline]9th July 2014[/editline] Also, do you expect seal clubbing on arcade+?
>Meme Arrows Real men only play Arcade++ with the Yak-15P I should go find the image for that 70 aircraft event where I got 22 by clubbing as Motherland in Arcade. It was taking candy from a baby Dwarf Fortress style, where the attempt to take it ends up with a concave baby face and emotional trauma. Couldn't find it. Must have deleted it with an upload, so I cleaned out my other 812 War Thunder screenshots. Have this one as an example of why I find it easy to carry ground strike missions. :v: [t]http://i.cubeupload.com/rTkDo5.jpg[/t] [sp]It gave us domination anyways.[/sp]
Tbh, I'm not that really good at flying. I'm more of a tank person myself. It's fun to go back to plane now and then.

They're pushin' out those dev updates fast. Granted, it's not hard when the model/texture are already completed and even out in Dev (T-54 1949, Marder III.) Wonder if we're any closer to 1.43, or as some people are negatively speculating, it's their means to calm the community. :v:
1.43 is supposed to be pretty soon, early august is what ~apparently~ was said on the rooskie forums.
Fluff post, but... http://www.reddit.com/r/gaming/comments/2a8qqx/saw_this_guy_on_war_thunder/
No one warned me that the Tu-2 literally shits silver when you play it in RB. Broke to 560k in like six matches. Fucking incredible. [editline]9th July 2014[/editline] Making 10k RP towards your next plane in a non-premium-plane, non-double match isn't normal. But when you fly the Tu-2 it is.
I warned you For months.
I'm sorry Senpai I'm even more sad that I'll have these things all aced in like what, a day? They're shitting out 3-5k RP a match towards parts.
I elected to give mine a little "help" for when the IL-28 and/or the Tu-14 comes in. I knew they we're going to fuck with me and stick something between the the 59 and the IL-28 but seeing as the Tu-14 is more or less the same fucking plane just bigger and slightly heavier I'll be fine. I mean shit look at the framed ass canopy, THIS is the Super Tu-2.
why the FUCK does the russian kingcobra have a lower BR than the russian airacobra
I mean shit look at the framed ass canopy, THIS is the Super Tu-2.
Fun fact! The Tu-14 may receive AM-23 guns in the tail and not NS-23. What's the difference? Well, both guns use the same exact cartridge, but the AM-23 fires at 1250RPM and not 800-850RPM. Effectively 56% faster at putting out boolets. [t]http://www.dogswar.ru/images/stories/gadjet/am-23.jpg[/t] As far as I know, the IL-28 never got them.
why the FUCK does the russian kingcobra have a lower BR than the russian airacobra
First tell me why the A6M3 Ko has a higher BR than all the other zeroes and also the Ki-84 :gaijin tiering:
So I hopped into War Thunder for the first time the other day, very much enjoyed it. I'm currently using the mouse control scheme because using a gamepad is shite and I don't have a joystick. What are ya'll's preferred control schemes? I feel like I'm cheating using my mouse to aim, or something. Also, I have never seen more acronyms anywhere than in this thread.
Mouse Aim is the default for Arcade and Realistic. Joystick is for Simulator and Realistic tryhards. Bind all 'yer control surfaces to WASDQE so you can override the instructor now and then. Never be afraid to ask if you don't know something, like those acronyms. :v:

Also I'm looking at the tail of the Tu-14 and it looks B-17 esq so we may have a problem.

This will aid greatly in making the tightest turn possible as opposed to trying to use the mouse. I use W/S as up/down throttle and brake.

Also I'm looking at the tail of the Tu-14 and it looks B-17 esq so we may have a problem.
It's sketch as fuck, but I can't find much info on it. The AM-23 was designed in 54, but produced in 53. The Tu-14 is 52, so it's not too far off. A lot of pages have the AM-23 for the Tu-14, but others don't. A lot list 4 x 23mm which doesn't help. And a fuckin' French website said there were another four fiddies hiding on it somewhere. The English Wiki has AM-23, and the Russian ones has NS-23. Knowing Gaijin and their effort, it'll just be NS-23s.
Wait you've got W/S bound to your pitch control AND your throttle?
My binds be crazy. WS AD QE - Elevator / Ailerons / Rudder - Pitch / Roll / Yaw Shift and X - Throttle z - Zoom f - Zoom on Target 1 and 2 - Flaps Down / Up Space - Bombs R - Rockets M1 M2 M4 M5 - Cannons / Machine Guns / Additional Guns / Strange Jazz Guns M3 - Target Select
I think I might steal some of those... Edit: After playing as Russia for my starting country, America's T1 planes feel... terrible. The name "Peashooter" does it more justice than it should, I feel.
Wait you've got W/S bound to your pitch control AND your throttle? And I'll be sure to do that. I'm researching the hawk right now, should get it done soon. I just might end up dropping some cash on this game, but for now I have 340 eagles to spend. Is there anything worthwhile to spend them on besides instant research?

Use them instead for premium time/planes/talismans.

When I played the game a ton, you could get the TU-2 through buying any other plane pack but I don't really know if that's changed or not.

Both are fun to fly, but the Dora just feels very well balanced against its opponents for the most part and also provides a fair amount more experience.
What are ya'll's preferred control schemes?
