I apologize for posting so much, I'll be going on a week vacation soon, so y'all will hear me yammering less.
In return, the power of a Tu-2's ass.

Not sure whether to feel good about that, or to feel like I'm "WAR THUNDER Mk5" 's own town drunk. I guess we can chalk me up as the giggly one and Mbird as the angry one. :v:

One final note before I quit plons for the night. Tomorrow's my last night before said trip.
ZSU-37 (not ZUT) is now in the CDK files as a string.

And maybe, just maybe, we'll be lucky to get a ZSU-57-2 prototype shoved in, since:
The first prototype ZSU-57-2 was built in June 1950, the second in December 1950. After official tests which took place between 27 January and 15 March 1951 in which the vehicle was driven for 1,500 km and 2,000 rounds were fired from its guns, six more prototypes were built for service tests. These prototypes had some improvements included, such as an increased ammunition load (300 rounds), but development stopped again due to the absence of improved S-68A guns. Various updates continued in 1952 and 1953. The service tests, in which two vehicles participated, took place in December 1954.
I just started playing this today and it's like the best game ever, fucking hell
more than that, I seem to be actually sort of proficient in it (consistently coming in top three, and first in the one RB I played) after 1 day of playing, and that is such an absurdly good feeling

I know I get like that with a lot of new games I play. But when I come back the next day I'm terrible. This often makes me try games once then never touch them again. Luckily, for War Thunder, I was only moderately successful in my first few games.

They outright said ZSU-57-2 is getting in.
Gotta love all the pissy "omg u fukr u ramed me!" private messages after a game ends. Especially when you mainly fly bombers and can't exactly dodge the 9999 scrubs flying at you head on. :v:
As a possible “compensation” for those who “suffered” from the changes we are considering a possibility to add following “modifications”:
- decal “Armor +25mm” for the owners of the Sherman tank
- decal “-510 kgs” for the owners of Fw-190D13 “Dora”
- decal “+700 ammo” for owners of the premium “Mustang”
They weren't kidding: (Plus all the other not-in-game decals I could find.)

This needs to be on my Tu-2 immediately.
Welp, I guess I'm not going to play this game in PRC.
LOL, THANKS GAIJIN.
EDIT:
I actually don't know if this is allowed or not. Obviously they want a piece of China's massive market for online games, so they're not idiots. Perhaps it's the Tibetan flag I was thinking about.

These decals own bones, I didn't expect that much effort to go into them.
So I have a confession to make.
Up until now I've been using my joystick in arcade and realistic (though to give credit to myself, I still averaged at a decent level).
I've just now started using the mouse and good god I feel like I'm in Sky Crawlers :v:.

On an unrelated note, due to being of taiwanese descent, those decals make me real happy.
Have they increased the health of bases overnight? I just dropped a 2000lbs bomb on one, square in the center of it, and it didn't get destroyed.
It doesn't take over 2000lbs of bombs to smash one with my B-17. :v:

It's always taken more than a 2k to kill bases
all those other times someone must have been helping you bomb it
or it was glitching
but really I've never seen it take less than 6-7k lbs at least to blow one up at B-17 tier

It usually takes about 8000lbs to destroy a base.

Might just be a cocktail of all those things. And maybe also my memory. :v:
And I'm not talking about airfields, just to clarify.
I'm talking about those objective bases that there is usually 3 of.
I like this event so far. Finally the Tiger doesn't feel like a soft giant box.
I had 3 T-34 a SU-122, SU-152 and a T-70 pounding at me during my 3 minute repair time of my main gun.

He's right, It's 8,000lb.
The other side looks similar.

MY MERGE
He's right, It's 8,000lb.
In Arcade, it's 3000kg / 6000lbs (maybe 8000lbs?)
In RB, it's 1500kg and should be 3000lbs.
I know 1 kg =/= 2lbs, but that's roughly the conversion the game uses damage wise. Also, Japanese 800kg bombs count for any other nation's 1000kg.
Bomb damage increases with size in a way that has a word I forgot. A single 500kg bomb will damage a base more than 10 50kg bombs.
Bomb damage increases with size in a way that has a word I forgot. A single 500kg bomb will damage a base more than 10 50kg bombs.
Exponentially? It wouldn't be linearly. Thinking about that, it's probably 4000kg - 2000kg in smaller bombs (250kg and less), and 1500kg - 3000kg in bigger ones. (500kg+)
250kgs do a little less than 500kg. The difference between 4 x 500kg and 2 x 1000kg is negligible.
However, trying to use 50-100kg and 100-250lbs bombs to base bomb is not a smart idea.
[sp]If you kill a base with the He-51's 10kg bombs, see me after class.[/sp]

Arcade matchmaking is such a joke. 7 B-17s,1 B-24, 2 Yer's, and 3 early jets.
I was in a Fw190...
Man, at least you get the option for good cannons that can actually kill bombers
The only thing nippon has that can kill bombers are the super-high Ki-84, the Ki-102, and the rocket. Everything else is completely useless against them
All good glorious nippon steel spent on planes, none left over to make glorious nippon guns

It was the Japanese FW190 A-5.
My god that gift Peshka prints money like nothing else.
After 1½ day of casual playing on and off, I've researched 3 planes and made almost 1 million creds.
And the Typhoon is the only brit plane I've had fun in so far (call me weird if you must, but I dislike the british planes)
Money well spent!
