The best way to beat the first few levels on nightmare in my experience is to basically bum rush it and ignore any enemies that aren't actually in your way. Due to the whole respawning monsters thing taking your time is a really bad idea.

Individual runs are on UV, but the full game run is Nightmare.

According to you guys, what's easier to set up a game (LAN if possible, since I use hamachi) in, Skulltag or Zandronum? I was planning on just playing Brutal Doom with 2-3 buddies of mine sometime.

You could always just port forward and use Doomseeker. I don't think you can host in Skulltag or Zandronum without it.

Zandronum is basically Skulltag 97e just with the Skulltag.pk3 file replaced with the Zandronum.pk3 one meaning that at the moment Skulltag's extras like the new monsters and extra game mode (or was it two? I forget.) are no longer there. The game engine is pretty much identical though.

I have to use mouselook on ZDoom because for some reason non-mouselook requries me to move my mouse a meter to get like a meter forward ingame
