You can have regular decorate bullets use a random cone. Please show me your code if you need my help. Its dead simple, instead of "1" bullet you set it to -1 bullet

I'd say yes just for the sake of gameplay.
Force not loaded weapons to act as melee weapons.

yeah I know, I just want to use projectile bullets instead for a few reasons (first and foremost is that they're dope as hell)
and as for sounds, thanks but I've already got a shitload of ideas and sources, just gotta find time to mess around with Audacity and grab some properly bangy sounds

To save yourself headache in the future. Make your projectile weapons fire harmless hitscans along with them. That way players can't get stuck in certain maps
So guys, here we go. Another WIP animation for using your PDA. Your PDA will be used for objective reminders, some flavor material (stuff like user name, thumb ID like in Doom 3), and if I can get it working; more advanced stuff like an in-game encyclopedia, and stuff really neat.

Oh no. Projectiles can trigger switches just fine, there's some mapsets that start you in a cage and demand a hitscan weapon to shoot it, projectiles break against the cage.
Said mapset would be epic, and compatibility is a great thing with weapon and gameplay mods

Ahhhhhhhhh, gotcha. Yeah I remember playing a mapset like that with Weasel's Terrorists and having that happen.
I've been playing Strife recently, and I will say it's quite the game. That said the Inquisitors are fucking BRUTAL.

The smoke is rushed, the firing is gonna look better ingame and the shells are gonna be actual objects, but I think you guys will like this. The gun will be able to be fired normally as well instead of side-ways.

I have tried model packs in the past but i can never find anything that matches pure awesomeness of sprites, would any of you be able to recommend a model pack that is accurate to them?

Are there any good detailed maps you guys can recommend? I enjoy ones like KDiZD, Hellbound, etc, where you're actually going through bases, hitting armories for weapons, all that fun stuff. Doom 2 Reloaded is one of my favorites for that, since it redoes all of Doom 2 into more detailed, less abstract maps.

Back To Saturn X is stuck somewhere between this and regular Doom and is also a fuckin great mapset and you should play it
I think 2 is good too but I played through it when I was suffering from crippling tooth pain and as a result only mostly remember the Dance With The Dead album I was using as background music, not so much the actual maps :v: (what I do remember is pretty damn good, tho. gotta replay it)

I been playing some Doom 3 and I remember the "Doom 3 Weapon Mod" for G/ZDoom back in '05. The animations were boring and stiff, like literally 3 frames doing nothing.
So I reanimated the pistol entirely and was wondering how you guys felt about it. I might do the other weapons later.

With sprites, using the sharpen tool can be surprisingly effective at creating high-quality sprites if you use it after shading.

Great idea! You should pair up with this guy ([url]http://forum.zdoom.org/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=48098[/url]) since he's building off the same Doom 3 mod, I think. He's added in new monsters and effects and such to go with it, better weapon animations would fit in great.

Messing with ammo/weapon pickups, barrel placements, corners, enemy placement and puzzles is your best bet - but you probably know that, being the mapper here.
