As awful as that looked, Danny Trejo was in it I just I just want him to be in a Doom game
Just gimme fast gameplay (run n' gun baby!), no console weapon bullshit (can only carry 2 weapons, you know how shitty that is), good sound design (lookin' at you doom 3 and your pitiful sounding weapons), and hopefully a way to mod the game. And good map design. Please no small spaces, give me more variety and open areas. Oh yeah, and be able to handle large amounts of enemies. You know, a modern day version of ye olde DOOM, but with all the neat shit we can do now. I mean, just imagine having a good, fast, modern DOOM game that's moddable. I so hope they didn't fuck this one up.

Gmod had that Doom mod that could use the .wad, hopefully they can get it into DOOM also

Well now I know. Moddb only has one mod for RAGE, and it is only a re-balance mod.

I so hope they didn't fuck this one up.[/QUOTE] I got a friend who got to see that closed door preview from last year, he mentioned there's a weapon select wheel that slows time down, besides the double jump he mentioned being able to pull up on ledges and jump down to goomba stomp imps. He also mentioned it looked like doom 3 with classic doom gameplay That left me pretty hyped,

This Doom 4 talk reminded me of a project I did last year Doom related that i forgot about It was for an animation class and we were making movie credits to learn different features of Flash [url]http://a.pomf.se/enfrbo.swf[/url] Nothing too fancy, but I did create silhouettes and manually erase highlights of all those pictures to get the cell shaded comic look which took quite a while Don't mind the stupid choice of names, they were just because there was a required amount to put in the project

Looks good my man [editline]19th May 2015[/editline] I can get pics if you want but I actually suggest some for HacX, Strife, Hexen, Heretic. along with the others like Chex Quest They're all Doom engine based games and ones like Hexen gave important things to the mod community (ACS), so imo its only fair. This thread is so niche (old school games) that we do tend to discuss them a bit beyond just Doom.

Which is still hurting for a name right now. Berserk might be a pair of like, gauntlets or something to make these fists even crunchier, not sure yet. I've been contemplating an altfire for these fists too, might be a wicked kick to punt monsters away, jumping and kicking will deliver a downward thrusting jumpkick that lets you bounce off walls and monster faces, because walljumping is [B]cool[/B].
