oh, the models are safe and secure... on my old broken computer's hard drive. i can't get to them at the moment because we don't have a working desktop in the house right now. as soon as i have a proper PC again i'll get them out to the public
well shit. lost my 2gb wad collection.. could anyone pass me theirs? (no iwads!!) any suggestions for wads would be awesome too
try Oneshot. you kill monsters with a single hit, but monsters do too. absolutely revamps balance and gameplay of any wad (for example, zombies are now most dangerous enemies cause you can't dodge hitscan).
well shit. lost my 2gb wad collection.. could anyone pass me theirs? (no iwads!!) any suggestions for wads would be awesome too
I can give you a link to my old folder. Most of my wads disappeared after my PC broke in 2008, but I managed to salvage some of them. I've since then collected some while playing Skulltag, and later on Zandronum. (I'm pretty sure I have the first beta of Zombie Horde) There's also a lot of old skulltag stuff in there, like announcers, demos, skins and screenshots, which I didn't care to filter out. [sp]The original Iwads are in there, but I trust you already own a legit copy of Doom 1 and 2. I will send the link through PM's[/sp] It's about 6,08 GBs in size, by the way.
I just saw these 2 cool mods on the Zandornum forums https://zandronum.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=4561 https://zandronum.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=2781
I saw a Doom boardgame on one place, is themed after the Doom 3 and god dammit, that got my interest. Anybody have played this?
The metroid one has got me interested
I made a short video of beating the Cyberman.. I didn't show the other beams off because I'm an idiot.
For the people who rated me later: i'm sorry but Brazil sucks on boardgame market and stuff. Just a heads up
Some of the crap being added in the Metroid mod never fails to blow my mind.
I don't like TC's and mods which add a shitton of random things and features to the game. Vanilla coop and singleplayer are great cause of very simple and quick gameplay, even the gameplay is defined by the wad.
So I was playing around with the whacked editor and made this abomination. Only compatible with Doom 2/Final Doom running in Boom compatible engines. It isn't going to be balanced, hell it might be impossible to beat the game with this. I tested it with Doom 2 running in GZDoom and Boom for DOS. When I tested it with Gameception on iOS (based on PRBoom), it caused a lot of errors. E: I am remaking it because of two reasons, A. I want it to be insane, but balanced. B. It's very poorly made, and lots of things can't be tinkered with without fucking up other things.

the best message replacement was in Russian Overkill, it had "drunk" instead of "degreelessness mode on"
what drugs were you taking i want some
My deep desire to make a game as surreal as Trio The Punch: Never Forget Me.

YOU FIGURED IT OUT
Playing with Hideous Destructor has been a painful experience. It's my Dark Souls in Doom format. I get really mad and die a ton; but I can't stay mad because it's usually my fault and it's so easy to bounce back from a save and try again. I think after about four hours, I'm only on level 09 of Doom II the Way ID Did. Plop down another 20 minute par and I'm now on Map 10
YOU FIGURED IT OUT
LUCKY!! CHA CHA!! I always loved how the heroes yell "HAWT SAAAWWCCEEE"
Unfortunately I'm a little late to the party - I initially got into doom in 1993; but, then actually tried mods for doom only recently (brutal doom being the one I'm playing right now - I loved unloved but I hated ghoul forest 3, that shit terrified me) and I think it's incredible how moddable this game actually is - I need to try both Action DOOMs when I can. Thank you for this thread! It's opened me to a new world of Doom that I never knew that well :)
The game is great so long as you play the pc TC of it. FPSes on the N64 are just atrocious to play though. The controls are a joke.
DooM 64 was a bit tricky, but Goldeneye and Turok were fine if you mapped movement to the C-buttons.
No it's MAP32: Grosse
Which is in Castle Wolfenstein. It is a recreation of the final level of Episode 1 of Wolf3D. Unless you were making a joke with the level names.
I may make a PWAD to accompany it.
I just started on it today. Got Slade and got to work. Right now it's just sound and music replacements. Don't know if I should take a Rot-Life approach or go full out Sky May Be with new maps. I've been meaning to learn how to use Doom Builder.
[sp]Thatsthejoke.jpg, MAP31 is called Wolfenstein[/sp]
You people all know this and the most I know is E1M1 - Hangar
That map was part of many of our childhoods. First thing we saw was that foyer area with a few explosive barrels here and there.
Doom EU now has a Facebook and Tumblr page.
