Ping wouldent be a problem if their prediction worked like it should
And regardless of ping I dont think rooms should randomly glitch out like they did

I've never gotten Custom Wads to work with Zdoom/GZdoom, I guess it's possible some might not work if I don't have Doom 2, I never understood the whole custom wad process at all.
Just drag your wad file to the Zdoom/GZdoom icon and play.
Spawn ([url]http://www.doomworld.com/vb/wads-mods/58227-spawn-released/[/url]) is a pretty cool hub map made for GZDoom, got released not too long ago. You guys should try it out, I'm playing through it with the newest version of Brutal Doom and having a blast.

The majority of wads out there won't work without Doom 2, but if you're trying to use Doom 1-oriented wads like DTWID and they still aren't working, something's wrong.

GZDoom and Skulltag are very similar since they're both based off of ZDoom, So in theory it should work with Skulltag unless it's using some rare GZDoom only feature.

Oh man, I played AOW2 again and realised again that this mod is horrendous in terms of balancing.
I find myself playing it despite vowing that this piece of shit doesn't deserve my divine presence *cough*.
I found half of the enemy team, all stealth troopers, camping a ion cannon beacon in the refinery while I desperately try to fucking defuse it but fail because of my dimwitted allies that are too busy killing this one guy with a super shotty who was taking potshots at our obelisk, despite dealing a stellar 1% of damage per minute.
Sometimes I wish the devs would take their k3w7-glasses off, delete 75% of the classes and take balance in map- as well as class-design into consideration for the next release.

By the way, I made Skin III, one of the default skins in Skulltag. Now that I look back at it, goddamn I could've done that better...
Even Eruanna and Torr and shit liked it, heh.
Also the Duel gamemode is one of the more fun gamemodes in the entirety of skulltag. I had the chance to play with Hex, Thor, Eruanna and good ol' cranky CarnBarn. Surprisingly enough I didn't to that bad against them
Has anyone tried running it on Skulltag yet? Now I'm curious.
The Spawn map? I haven't noticed a ton of GzDoom features in playing through it so far. Breakable glass and a couple other things. I don't even know how to run WADs with Skulltag. :v:
Also if you guys want the effects of Brutal Doom with another weapon WAD, you can run Brutal Doom Lite ([url]http://forum.zdoom.org/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=31339[/url]) after the WAD of choice to get most of the effects.

You usually need Doom 2, you can get it for (a rather overpriced) $20 on Id Software's website
You could also try FreeDoom but I don't think it works.
You can get it on Steam for five bucks as of now.

Just like you would with GZDoom (or anything else really), drap and drop the wad into the exe.
