I know this isn't doom, but when I realized that modern Quake light compilers could do colored lighting, I wanted to try applying it to the normal quake levels. This was very much successful (Done the first few levels already) due to the maps source being released a while ago. It's amazing how much of a difference this can make... Quake could use more stylized colored lighting I think. Darkplaces has good colored lighting but some of the .lits for regular quake are kind of barebones. I want to implement something similar to those little shits for the spectre replacements, a monster with a melee attack that can drain your ammo.

I reinstalled Quake 2 and set up an unofficial patch so I finally have music and oh my god it's like I'm playing a completely different game. Before I got bored of it pretty quickly, now I like it a lot more.

I traced the outline of doomguy and filled it in black in photoshop, then went in and erased the most noticeable bits of lighting based on the colored picture. It's going to serve as a backdrop for a credits scene since one of our projects in my flash class is to make a movie title sequence, along with a few others I've yet to make [t]http://i5.minus.com/ib0yZPPsZO5AHm.png[/t] Added a hell knight
