Are there any ways to improve my FPS when firing? My PC's kinda old but it can still run the game smoothly except for when I shoot my gun. Other people shooting is fine but if I shoot the frames drop and I can't do anything. Also happens in STALKER if that's worth anything :v:

It dropped as far as 16 without those two.

See if you can find a pro with same/close specs as you have. And good luck.

15-14 one CT alive and one T alive with 0:02 seconds left on the clock I was destined to win that game, but ofcourse the last living soul of my CT squad decided he wanted to be a hero. Bomb's lying in mid with a smoke on, my teammate who was also standing inside the smoke just had to not touch his mouse or keyboard for 2 seconds and the game would be won, instead he runs outside the smoke into clear vision of the enemy terrorist and died. Game ended a tie. It's so frustrating when people don't grasp the concept of the timer while having that Call of Duty Deathmatch mindset.

Was playing a bit of deathmatch, an enemy was standing still and was getting killed all the time, at one point I saw him rapidly spinning in place, I wonder what he was up to.

I've heard enough stories of people who bought 144Hz displays while running it at 60Hz unknowingly for a long time.

On a decent rig windowed noborder shouldn't affect much, but judging from the $5 CPU you might want to switch to fullscreen

When you are reduced to doing what you are doing with a game like CSGO I think you really need to consider and upgrade.
