Any tips for AKing on longer distances? Should I go for two-bursts or four-bursts or whatever?
1 taps.
Yes and MG's are predictable. Then above MGE it gets unpredictable again.
novas and silvers are unpredictable by accident, good players are unpredictable by design.
8th loss in a row. Excuse me while I go cry myself to sleep
1 taps.
But my enemies don't tap, they go full spray and hit me with sniper accuracy help wat do
Because their first shot is on target, then you panic because they drew first blood in the exchange. If you remain calm, strafe while re-acquiring target, and shoot dead on the head, you should be fine.
welp, just got smurfed out in a 2-16 game Game was so fucking stacked against us, nearly everyone on the other team with pretty regular scores, then their first with like 40-5 or something. Distributed headshots among everyone with any gun in every round. I think he did less body shots than headshots... Edit: lol fuck this game, the guy either had supersoldier reflexes or he was hacking. Guy didn't miss a shot and knew the exact times people would show up on his sights. He also aimed flawlessly and crazy fast while knowing where everyone was.
i went back and watched some tape from yesterday's matches that i played. there were six separate times where i got a headshot, hit the helmet, and didn't kill the enemy - immediately followed by me getting domepieced. what a way to go lmao [editline]18th May 2015[/editline]
i noticed that T side has barely any good pistols for eco. you've got the glock, which is basically the most balanced gun in the category even with practically no damage. and then you've got the p250, which is post-nerf nearly useless due to its ammo capacity and fire rate, same story with the CZ. the tec-9 is "spray and pray" territory with its spread and i guess the deagle is good if you can aim. i don't think there is a gun on T side that comes even mildly close to the five-seven on CT side now that i'm thinking about it.
to people who rated this disagree - which pistol is worth learning on T-side? tec-9? i'm legitimately curious, i didn't mean to be flippant or anything. i just don't want to waste my time using shitty guns if the alternatives are better
Glock for pistol rounds, Tec9 for halfbuys/halfecos, P250 for 95% ecos
I think one of the things I aquired in TF2 and will have to remove for better result in CSGO is tunel-visioning enemies. I feel like that's at least 30% of my deaths that I keep aiming towards one enemy, even if he's behind a wall and there's other guy shooting at me.

Once you get confident with this thing you realize that the true number here is $0 + Reliable headshots that are guaranteed to fucking hurt(Just crouch when distance would call for a rifle) + Reload a whole .3 - .5 seconds faster than with the 57/tec + A spray pattern resembling a neat straight line making recoil compensation a breeze + Goes well with a Molotov to compensate for those long range non-fatal headshots Cons: - Very little ammunition, might suck if you like to run around and shoot everywhere but why the hell are you doing that anyways - High damage falloff, meaning there is of course times where a deagle or 57 would be more fitting
i used to use the P250 religiously until they nerfed the shit out of it. it was replaced by the five-seven on CT and as you've seen, i'm still looking for a suitable one on T-side. if the P250 is worth using, i'm all for it. i'll just have to get used to picking another pistol up for those times where it becomes a close quarters spray battle
I feel like Lounge just insulted me.
i think it's important to have a pattern when you're playing, too. i see way too many people that are completely inept at saving money for rounds. i'm confident enough on CT side on most maps that this is my strat: Five-Seven on the pistol round with at least one kill and round victory is more than enough for a UMP + full armor round 2. the above, but with a round loss is still enough for another five-seven and full armor. i have only recently begun to truly appreciate and enjoy the semantics of CS:GO. it is very worthwhile to sit down even in the menus and just pay attention to everything. it is, all things considered, very much like a real life sport. watch the game tape. know your fundamentals. be a good communicator. and of course, execute the game plan.
it kills me when i see people at mg1-mg2 just fail to save, even when i say before the round "save this round"
Got a nice lil' 3k in MM earlier today. I was real lucky that the second guy couldn't aim.
I actually use the ump and bizon more than any rifle lol, rushing cat as ct when all the t's are distracted by the mid guy or trying to throw nades is ez profit
I actually use the ump and bizon more than any rifle lol, rushing cat as ct when all the t's are distracted by the mid guy or trying to throw nades is ez profit
I can't really vouch for the bizon, but the UMP has great 1st shot accuracy and a real easy spray pattern. If you catch an enemy off guard at a reasonably close range with it, they dead.
it kills me when i see people at mg1-mg2 just fail to save, even when i say before the round "save this round"
And people need to know that $2000 is the magic number when saving. (this will give you some grenades) Ofcourse, if you start doing math, you can get as low as $1600 (losing 3 first rounds in a row as T's without bomb plant) (also means no grenades)
[IMG_thumb]http://puu.sh/hStih/8e1c8523d0.jpg[/IMG_thumb] Can i has GE now plos ? (too bad we lost, it was a pretty fun game anyway)
I thought I'd try a new way of unboxing cs:go cases about 2 weeks ago. Instead of going all out at once and getting spammed with Mil-Spec Grade weapons I tried unboxing one case every 4 days. Doing pretty well at this point. 1st case wasn't too bad at the time, FN Desert Eagle Bronze Deco. 2nd was a MW Stattrak Mag-7 Heat, 3rd was a FT Famas Djinn and my 4th one took the cake: [t]http://i.imgur.com/49B9gRM.jpg[/t] Best thing I've ever unboxed so far out of a cs:go case and it's MW.
Finally worked my way up to MG1 again after being dealt a shitty team on MM like 5 times in a row. I feel like I'm better than most MG1's I face so my goal is to get up to at least MG2, hopefully MGE by the end of the summer.

I just got dunked on by salty hackers who were mad that hackers were beating them. Genius.

It's an entry fragging machine. It barely loses any accuracy while running so you can just fuck around and headshot all day like a pro. Plus you don't have to reload ever, even with the mag size nerf. Like don't even bother buying an ak if you can afford it. rec-9's more combat effective, and cheaper. [editline]19th May 2015[/editline] P250's still pretty godly though of course.
this is why i act on a simple "all traders are scammers" policy suits me fine
Inventory for games like tf2 and cs really make interacting with other players pretty poisonous. Was ages ago before I set my inventory as private but I remember fucking up in some casual game and was liek, "sorry guys I must be drunk :P". Suddenly get a friend request from this dude who's liek, "How much you drunk bro? Drinking more later?" At first I thought he just wanted to sexually molest me but it turned out to be way more pathetic. No, he was hoping I'd gift him my items that were worth like $5. What a waste of effort.
I was playing with friends. and whenever we naded other team I would say I called it because walls. and then the dude toggled on and
DeagMasterPenguin : had to toggle cause you guys are walling
Playing like shit at 4 in the morning, but hey tied it up and got promo'd to MGE. Woo me I guess.
