Counter-Strike: Global Offensive v4 "Tec9 is a meme gun" - Games

Yo guys, I am back after a almost 2 year break. And I am back with 2 questions: 1) Does winning/losing on reserves maps (Office, Vertigo, Italy etc.) have less impact on your rank than the active maps? 2) How long do the "demo sharing links" remain functional? You know, when you download one of your recent matches, open the scoreboard and then share the link. Does that work forever or do the links expire? I need to know because I wanna record some of my better moments, but as of now I have a crappy PC and I need to get a new one before I can record in decent quality without FPS drops. I pasted the links into a textfile and put that into my Dropbox.

Was actually contemplating the other day to see how different certain maps are (especially Inferno).

im unranked and keep going against 2/3/4 gold stars (dunno official name sue me) but im doing awful

So I deranked last night thanks to soloqueing, but just now I topscored for the win on a 3v5 game on inferno (two players disconnected due to VAC errors) and instantly ranked back up... It was a really weird change of strategy when you have two team respawns, and trying to make the bots not die every round.

I know about Inferno due to the "extended" T-spawn and the grated door in appartment.

italy's middle section was completely redone, and office had some slight changes

Hey uh... guys? Anyone of you ever used the XM1014 to its full extent? I carried a Gold Nova 4/Master Guardian 1 match on Nuke with it. I was topfragging with it. I'd show you the scoreboard if I still had it. Also, the Zeus. I started buying it if I have the money, and it has saved my ass a couple of times and gained me a free weapon during ecos. Or it has given me laughter.

Plus most shotguns kill after two hits so it's usually a safer choice compared to the Nova or what have you.

When it comes to armor penetration I think the XM1014 and the Nova are the same. The only real "armor shredders" are the Sawed-Off and the Mag-7. The Nova can kill in one shot, just like the XM1014. Or has a tighther spread, not sure.[/QUOTE] I find the autoshotty to be the most useful of them since it can kill with a single head or stomach shot close up (96 from a full blast to an armored chest, if a few hit the stomach you will kill), and despite what you'd expect from a spam weapon it has the tightest cone (not by a lot) and least damage dropoff of all of them. The Nova has poor armor pentration but is cheap and has a high kill reward like the others so if you can pick a guy or 2 off 2nd round you'll be able to full buy with no worries 3rd round. I find the buffed Mac-10 and MP9 to be better/safer choices because they have range and still have $600 per kill. The Mag7 has better single shot damage than the auto up to around 13m with its lower RangeModifier (not great shotgun distance anyways) and the best running accuracy so it's also a good choice for that price range if you can guarantee the one shot or can retreat. The Sawed Off is a shittier Mag7 with a huge cone, slower movement speed and at best 6.7% more damage. It's $1200 but the Nova fills that niche better anyways. The pellets go poof at 17m. You will only be disappointed by it. The autoshotgun is really underappreciated because it can easily contend with rifles in tight areas and still has the $900 kill reward. A guy on my old scrim team would hold banana with it very successfully and give us an amazing economy advantage.

Why do people play with first person tracers off? It gives you feedback on your shot trajectories which can help you wrangle in a screwy spray, and when you get a perfect spraydown you get to watch all your shots go directly to the guy. It's satisfying like the stream of hit sounds when you get a perfect LG in Q3.
