It's only a bad thing if you do it every time with no forethought. Crouuchwalking is also exactly the fastest speed you can move with no accuracy penalty.

It took me a while to stop crouching when aiming/firing all the time. I don't play CSGO that often so I still do it sometimes but I've been actively trying to stand still/walk while aiming instead.

You don't want to start off with the crouch and spray if you know they're aiming low, you want to predict where they are already aiming to make them work for that headshot. If you know they're aiming headlevel, crouching pretty much when they start to fire is a great way to get some free hits in. If you're playing versus low players ADAD is pretty viable. If you feel like you're forced to crouch cause you're too far out in the open, you were already too far out to begin with though. Try to play angles closer and it's way more difficult to off you.

I still can't bet on csgolounge. Does anyone know whats wrong? I place a bet, I go to the screen with "please wait a bit", then after a while it just disappears; no trade offer, no bet, nothing. And I need to force refresh inventory before it shows the items that I tried to bet.

If I'm walking forward or backwards, my reaction to release the key and press the opposite key is much slower than the time I can I just either press shift or, even better, crouch. By crouching it slows me down quicker and allows me to control my spray faster. Also with crouch, I can disorient opponent's spray by uncrouching quickly and then maybe crouching again if my spray is that awful. That always made sense for me. I crabwalk sometimes, but it's rare. It's a once in a game type of play.

I tried Css during lunch break today, it really felt like I was playing 1.6. So much of the visual clutter of csgo was gone and the ak.. wow, the ak, shit just went exactly where I pointed.

So 1 mission a day for miniscule exp which doesn't even matter and 1 drop a week? Enjoying the new maps and I like a few of the new skins, but the missions/ranks part of this operation feels pretty lame. Plus, I barely have any chance of getting the non-case set weapons that I actually like since the drops are weekly and even then I get a battle scarred mag-7 storm. I don't feel entitled to get these skins, but I just feel weekly drops are way too little considering how easy it is to get garbage old skins.

The only things I really miss about 1.6 and Source are the wallbangs, fun-maps (func_vehicle), and the deagle actually being useful instead of a joke weapon like the m429. If that doesn't help you can try renewing your Steam trade link.

A lot of times the sounds just ruin things for me. I dunno, it's like the gun feels weak so I kinda "give up", if it makes any sense.

Their reaction told me they'd do it again if they thought they could get away with it, and I really didn't enjoy playing with them when I can't trust they're not hacking (they didn't tell me when they were until after they got VAC'd and even then they tried to convince me it was a false positive for a bit), but one of the other people in the lobby is nagging me to give them another chance.
