There are other maps?
Been playing Inferno 90% of my Competetive games, love that map.
Does nobody like play a different map every time? (Out of a selected few)
I do, I put on a few maps then take off maps after I played that map of the group.
Also they should widen banana on Inferno to make it more like 1.6 inferno, which was actually more balanced than dust2.
So my 2 VAC banned friends, am I right in refusing to continue playing with them? Their reaction told me they'd do it again if they thought they could get away with it, and I really didn't enjoy playing with them when I can't trust they're not hacking (they didn't tell me when they were until after they got VAC'd and even then they tried to convince me it was a false positive for a bit), but one of the other people in the lobby is nagging me to give them another chance.
Why does it matter so much, if you want to play with them just play with them. I've played with people who are actively cheating before and I've found it fun even if I dislike cheaters.
Ofcourse it's fun to get free win without any need to work for it

it's not

I cycle between office, season, agency, overpass, and sometimes if I'm feeling lucky or something - cache or cbble.
Anyways, I called my bank, since I have no imagination whatsoever, what should I name this?

So far I've gotten
"This cost $100"
"I spent $100 on this"
"Counter-AWP"
"AWP Sr."
from two different people, but I'm sure you guys could be more imaginative.
You have weird taste in maps
You have weird taste in maps
Thats what people tell me all the time, I never really liked the big 4 maps, which puts me at odds with like three quarters of the player base.
I tend to play just about anything except dust2 in competitive, because i'm sick of seeing it after casual games where dust2 is played 90% of the time and usually voted over and over.

Especially if you played 1.6 and CS:S in their prime, so many 24/7 dust2 servers...
The solution would be so simple, let us select maps when searching for casual matchmaker games like in competitive. This group map search is so annoying.
Yeah, but then it gets vote changed to dust 2 again.

I hope you don't bring that attitude with your premade to the csgo tournament..

Best thing ever.
Only solution is to disable Dust2 altogether.
Will tournament have gotv active? I'd play but I don't have it in me to play against SMFCs and globals as a nova, would be cool to watch though.
I got placed into Gold Nova III, but I feel pretty lack luster in basically all areas. Is this rank considered shit tier or more like middle of the pack? Because I was honestly expecting to be placed in silver.
Let's talk about that dumb fucking lamppost in mid.
That fucking lamppost is the cause of my 85 and 95 in 1s.
That fucking lamppost.
I love the lamp post, pixel walk every time on it.
edit: I don't understand why it would be there though, should move it somewhere else.
More fun stuff on reserve group maps

replace dust2 with dust 1 without telling anyone
My other DMG friend is quite pissed off after being matched with GN4s in his recalibration game, which he lost...
got five headshot taps with the desert eagle in quick succession
first time i've ever been kicked from an official deathmatch server
I just got my first rank this night.

Did I do alright?
So we just had a match where someone left, we tried to surrender because 4v5 as ct's is just stupid, only the window was waiting for the 5th persons input and it refused to go away for the entirety of our CT time, somehow through this the bot also decided that it was never again going to listen to our commands and ran out to die every single round.
Also seeing that shit with players popping in and out of existence when theyre only showing a small part of their body and its real fucking annoying.
best update
Wow.

I used a CZ all game. Ranks are never gonna be fixed.

If you're worried I'll bring cheaters with me then don't be, there's no point cheating in something like a tournament compared to MM. Nor do I actively search for cheaters to play with - it just happens sometimes.

I'm not sure I understand this
I'm not sure I understand this
If you're cheating in MM, part of the fun comes from the reactions of the other team. If you're cheating in a tournament then that's just a bit shitty really.

Isn't it "a bit shitty" to be cheating anywhere? Also, if you cheat in a tournament it's probably to get a reward of some kind.

Depends on your personal opinion I guess, personally I don't really care too much. You're going to get cheaters in any game so you might as well accept that instead of get salty about it. And if you're cheating to win something in a competition then that is indeed, a bit shitty.
note to self: make sure somebody is spectating the tournament matches so dorkslayz can't cheat
