Firstly turn down your sens if you havent already, 1-3 ingame at 400 dpi (or equivalent, you want ingame sens*dpi to be between 400 and 1200 or so for most people). Then just play ffa dm until you're able to aim. If your movement is really shit then playing surf/bhop/climb servers can help you with that.
At your level you probably shouldn't worry about playing on retake servers and shit, just practicing aiming.

Wait what? sens*dpi should be 400-1200? I got my sens to 2 and I'm pretty sure my mouse DPI is set to 4000. Hmm might have to take a look at that.
And yeah my primary disadvantage is aim for sure, aiming and spray patterns I'm like totally shit at. I think I've got somewhat of an idea of like terrain/angles/positioning from playing WoT and other stuff like that but I don't have the fast aiming reflexes at all. The best I can do is generally kinda spastically aim at center mass then drag to feet to compensate, so I've tended to stick to mostly SMGs because they're the only guns I can consistently control. I tried some DM earlier today but man controlling some of the rifles like the AK is a serious pain in the ass.

I also have this terrible habit where I keep spraying too much, when I try to get single shots out of the AK I generally end up firing 3 or 4, and sometimes with the panic I end up just mashing mouse 1.
so i bought a new video card last week and i finally got around to play som cs:go, damn, it feels like i'm god damn cheating! headshots are 10x easier, my shots are 100% consistent. dropped 2 40 bombs in the last 2 matches i played. my rank is mg2.

download some aim training maps and go practice keeping your spray contained on a wall
the sooner you learn to spray effectively the faster you will rank up
Hey, Facepunch pals. I was wondering if someone could give me a hand with an issue I've been having with GO. From time to time the game starts stuttering like mad. Like just yesterday I could play fine but today the game skips frames/stutters for no reason. Additionally my ping bumps up and goes back to normal as I stutter (I usually have 32 so when it bumps it goes: 32 shoots up to 49, goes back down, jumps again etc.) I don't think it's to do with my machine as I can (and I have) handled the game fine and I can run games that are more demanding than CS:GO with no problems. Sorry if I disturbed any on-going discussions but I'd really like some feed back on this odd issue.

Never mash mouse 1 unless you have a rek 9/5-7/p250. Then you're doing it properly because pistols in this game are stupid.
Don't worry about learning to control like all 30 bullets out of a rifle, just the first 10 or so should be enough. If you haven't killed someone by then they'll probably have killed you.
Also don't aim at their chest unless you're awping. You're going to want to keep your crosshair at head height all the time so that you can get headshots without flicking. Actually just watch [url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U9mvXfnY8wU]this[/url].

Try to uninstall it then install it again. For the ping its normal mine is usually 120 jumps to 150 then back to 120 .

But sometimes you have to spray 4 or even 5 people. You have to be the big man sometimes. Learning the way the recoil ramps up at the beginning is very important no matter what the situation is though.
