So my monitor is starting to get some ghosting and it can sometimes be a little annoying and misleading. Is that normal for over 5 year old monitors? Sorry if I disturbed any on-going discussions but I'd really like some feed back on this odd issue.[/QUOTE] i had an issue with an old wireless pci card that caused my entire computer to stutter when using the internet for 30 seconds at a time maybe every 30-60 minutes, you could be seeing something like that? i now bridge the connection through my laptop, which exhausts heat into the top of my pc which isn't great but whatevs it hasn't set fire yet

If set too high it causes negative ghosting. See if your monitor has a setting for that and lower it, on Asus it's called TraceFree. EDIT: Samsung calls it Response Time Acceleration

My new monitor had something like this and it turned out by default some "RTS mode" setting was on which causes ghosting on certain sites with strong colors like FP.

I've noticed that when setting it to normal it doesn't have that ghosting anymore, but oh god does everything feel so delayed. It's feels like it's only running at 30hz instead of 60 so I've set it to quick and will play around with that.

Did they recently change it so cancelling matchmaking while the "ACCEPT" button appears gives you a competitive cooldown??? I was in a lobby and it got to that when one of our friends said they'd join so the leader cancelled it and when they joined and we tried going it said that everyone except them had a competitive cooldown and when we checked it said we failed to connect by match start.
