Step 1. Watch the games and get involved. Don't bet for 1-2 weeks. After half of the don't bet period has started, start to make "bets". If the bets end up being accurate enough at the end of the week, start betting with X budget. Go with small bets on 5%, medium 10 and large 20%. Never break protocol unless you have inside information. Step 2: Don't bet wrong [editline]3rd June 2015[/editline] That subreddit is trash nowadays. Made a comeback to betting and there's like no comments like there used to be.
CSGOnuts is pretty good for deciding who you want to bet on based off of actual statistics. Or you can use the fake betting system if you don't want to put any real money/skins in.
/r/csgobetting
A shadow of it's former self. The owner of the subreddit doesn't care about it so it fell into complete disrepair and is useless now.
I am never going to get ranked since i always get placed with eagles and DME's. I lose every game but it will never let me play against lower people.
Never thought you could get easy wins in office
http://gfycat.com/WearyLameAmericanbittern http://gfycat.com/LazyDecisiveGroundbeetle Spraying kills faster than tapping at one of the longest ranges in the game. The accuracy mechanics really need to be tweaked. For numerical reference it took 3.98s to spray the first 3 (since I'm not counting the reload) and 6.73s to tap the first 3. So tapping took 70% longer. One test doesn't mean much but the theoretical averages are similar.
Holy fuck that Na'Vi-Ti game was wild and insanely close
Holy fuck that Na'Vi-Ti game was wild and insanely close
Placed a bet on Na'Vi and when I saw that Titan lead I didn't expect to win that bet. Surprised that Na'Vi won.
How did Titan choke that, jesus, there go my skins.
I was rooting for Na'Vi but yeah they shouldn't have won that
i'm going to be so shit when i get my pc back. i havent touched my mouse in 2 weeks
My only problem with Zoo is how quickly Ts can rush B and how effective it is. The map also seems heavily T sided in my experience.
I had the most trouble on B when I played zoo. I found it very easy to win A. However, I found it easier to retake B than A for some reason.
Here's a better quality version of the video I posted a while ago, yeah I'm getting the hang of recording stuff in quality.
Quick tip for the future: cl_draw_only_death_notices 1 (removes hud and stuff) as well as X-Ray off. It makes some frags look a little less impressive. I personally find it more impressive when a person flicks to an enemy when I can't see them coming.

Spraying should always have higher dpm than tapping just because you're never going to match the rpm of an automatic weapon firing semi-auto. The real issue is getting all the bullets into the enemy, but that comes down to how well you manage your spray pattern at range, which requires some measure of skill and practice. At least for me spraying with the AK I wouldn't be able to manage those kills in even four times the time it takes to tap because I'd be shooting the sky half the time.
imo brackets are s1-se sem-gn2 gn3-mg1 mg2-mge dmg-lem smfc-ge
Frankly, every rank before SEM is in its own skill bracket, you'd be really surprised how much of a difference there is between individual silver ranks.
Frankly, every rank before SEM is in its own skill bracket, you'd be really surprised how much of a difference there is between individual silver ranks.
The difference between a silver 4 and SEM is massive, its hilariously cringeworthy seeing it but there's a really big difference in how people play between the ranks. If you thought looking at the floor and crab shooting was bad, silver 4 has people who just refuse to buy and play the whole game with the starting pistols. I've also yet to see a legit silver 1 since the ELO reset, all the silver 1s I knew are now silver 4s.
Surprisingly, I don't see that much idiocy in silver ranks, but I hear that US silvers are much better than EU silvers.
Surprisingly, I don't see that much idiocy in silver ranks, but I hear that US silvers are much better than EU silvers.
It's probably because of smurfs fighting against smurfs.

HOLY MOTHER OF FUCK. sorry for the caps but this was bloody beautiful, i mean honestly no matter what i type it just won't do it justice but i will try. I join a random dust 2 game, notice on my team i have Chicken and Chicken(1) and another player from the US with over 100 ping, i look at the steam profile of the enemy team and see 4 of them are a premade, great start. Fears realized right away both chickens are trolls deliberately throwing the game and this was in the warm up. Game starts, 1 chicken Zeus's a team mate in spawn other 1 sits in spawn with bomb sqwarking over comms so we couldn't hear shit, yet somehow we win the 1st rd, next 2 rounds the bomb was thrown under the car but we manage to kill all CT's both times, 4th rd Chicken is kicked by VAC, Other chicken continues to be a bell end harassing people for the bomb TK flash / smoking you if you don't give it to him and he puts it under car every time. For the next few rounds he's doing this forcing us to chase kills and we suffer because of it but thankfully we get a vote kick going and it seemed the rest of us were actually decent guys after a fun game and not buying into this trolling shit even though i got the impression they were. So at this moment in time The scores are 3 - 5 to CT's. We have 2 Bot's on our team. Our 3rd player was a yank with 100+ ping, 1 kill. We'd be bled dry in the economy game. The US guy calls a vote to surrender, enemy team laughs at our misfortune and gloats a little. I explain to the team that each and every single win we chalk up saves our ELO ranking a bit more than if we just surrender the remaining rounds. Vote fails. For the remaining rounds We kept the bots in spawn and slowly edged out trading picks then controlling the bots and their shitty nova's and fucking negev's we'd blitz one of the sites and somehow it was working. End of the half scores are 7 - 8 to them. On a T sided map we thought we did alright but BOT's on CT are useless cause we won't have the luxury of leaving them safe in spawn. Options were, Leave them in spawn where the enemy knows where they are and goes hunting them, or the bot's fuck off and die in mid because they ignore commands. Either way scores went 7 - 12, No money, no kills, left absolutely fucked. But then Que the mother of all fucking comebacks. We play a strat i like to call, 'fuck it we're dead anyway lets get this over with'. 2 Bot's in spawn, 1 long door's, 1 on B, 1 on mid or short, using smoke to hide his location. First sign of enemies, we push fucking hard, head on right into them. For some dumb fuck reason it actually worked. We'd get 2 or 3 guys every single time, and when we died we'd take over a bot. I'm sitting them gob smacked laughing with my teammates at what was unfolding and witnessing proper rage from the enemy team to the point they called a vote kick on the bottom fragger indicating that yes these guys were really fucking try harding this bullshit and we was getting them worried. We make it to 13 - 13, at this point hackusations are thrown about like confetti but we take no notice, we get 14 - 13. Jesus fuck we're actually leading, whats going on. But it did'nt last long, they hit spawn hard killed the bot's and picked us off 1 by 1, 14 - 14 we figured the sucker punch was coming. 14 - 16 to them. Sure enough next round both bot's don't listen to the order and they hit mid both dying. Fuck. I prop up on the wall at mid with a p90 and we just wait to see what they do. Suddenly CT gets smoked off. I hear a lot of footsteps coming my way and i beg for help. I've used this spot a few times already in the game so they kind of expect me to be there so i have to hit them first. A flash comes round the corner blinding me, thankfully they don't push, a 2nd flash comes round only this time I'm not waiting for it. I blitz around the corner semi blinded and catch them with their pants down, dink dink dink as i watch 3 of them collapse on the ground from headshots. The 4th gets lit to shit but i run out of ammo and he backs off behind doors only to gets nailed by our long pusher. the 5th, fuck knows we never found the guy. We got the draw, fuck knows how but we did. But we did'nt stop there. We actually fucking won, 3/4 of the game played with 2 bot's the other 1/4 played with throwers, a yank with 100+ ping, A bleeding bot with more kills than 2 of their players, against a fucking DMG. I'm out, can never top that.
kqly didn't cheat in competitive play though? he was a genuinely good player, yeah he's a fucking idiot for trying cheats but i don't think you can use that as a basis to claim that other pros are hacking [editline]2nd June 2015[/editline] the VAC spam in twitch chat before when this happened was unreal
If he was sure enough that the cheats couldn't be detected on his CS:GO account (which if it got VACced would ensure his pro scene play is over), then he'd damn well be sure enough to use it when there's a huge monetary reward on the line.
They're at a lan though? am i missing something
Apparently there was a hack which could be auto-downloaded by the steam workshop when you logged in, meaning it could've been feasibly used at a LAN.
Of course my "win 16 competitive rounds on zoo" mission would end in a tie
I was playing casual Zoo, got promoted to corporal, and had this drop: [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1847874/csgo/fincher.PNG[/t] What a contrast to the $0.04 UMP I had drop last week. Normally, I sell whatever drops I get, but this thing is pretty cool. Will probably sell it anyway. :v:
is there a guide for what cases to get?
is there a guide for what cases to get?
Opening cases is always -EV don't bother if you want to make money. If you're doing it for fun then just pick the one with the skins you like the most from here.
it's a bit of both, i've only opened 6 cases and two of them i made by money back on won't be dropping like $50 on cases or anything though
I've dropped about $40 on cases, got a butterfly knife night and a buncha skins with $10+, ended up with about $250 in my steam wallet I sold em all and bought a buncha games, I dont regret making money off of peoples desire to be different.
Oh god Mouz won both maps? Thank god I called it a night and didn't go for HR.
