Same reason, and coupled with what gk99 said boosts the value. Though for these weapons, you'd be better off seeking the best quality of Minimal Wear. You can only get up to a wear of 0,06 for the Factory New, but with the Minimal Wear you can get up pretty close to that with up to 0,07.
In the case of the Whiteout, even the Minimal Wear is $12, and who honestly uses the mp7 enough to justify that purchase? If you want to be reasonable you'd compare the Field Tested ones that go for 50 cents, looking for a top quality of those. I've got a few of those if you're interested.
I think valve could do a better job at matching up players from different ranks.

I think there is a need to rag onto him. Because if he would get a knife (knives are expensive, why would a random person on the internet give something worth so much to another stranger) again, most likely it'd be scammed again. CSGOlounge is full of wear scammers. Just look up a stattrak atomic alloy. You'll find a billion trades trading a MW one for a knife and 9/10 of those people have a FT one in their inventory. The moment you read "just unboxed this beauty", "I'm overpaying ..." or "looking for a fast trade" be 10 times as careful.
That feeling when your grenade kills 4 players on a B rush before they even fire a shot. and the 5th guy just casually walks out surrendering himself to the inevitable Ace while your still stunned about what just happened.

The workshop has so many bad skins all over it, so many skins trying to be like ass-imov or orion. I really dislike all these futuristic/ultra stylized skins trying to be ~expensive~

No, you paid $207. I know because I was looking at that exact listing and was considering if it was worth it. Though you are taking quite a gamble buying now: four of the six 'discontinued' map sets were added as mission rewards for Vanguard. Assault and Office are the ones that weren't, and I'd say there's a fair chance we'll see them in the next operation if it's anything like this one.
Nice get, regardless. I think that's about as blue as they get. But if you do plan on selling it, I'd be interested in trading for it. I could always use more blue. :v:

No, I didn't buy it off of the steam marketplace. I traded $100 worth of chroma keys for it.
You do have a good point about the drops, but I doubt the price is gonna dip below what I paid for anytime soon.
