What attributes would an AK-47 replacement have that would make it desirable over the original? Only things I can think of are better sprayability (so lower recoil, higher rpm?) and lower HS damage; and a more powerful semiauto (like an FN FAL) but that sounds boring and less useful than the AK

I think a more agreeable swap out would be that six shot revolver that was hinted at in the code in place of the deagle. Although I dunno if they should bother with addition weapons when they are still too clueless to balance the ones we already got.

I saw a CSGO Trade thread on FP some time ago. Is it still around? I can't seem to find it.

I joined a lobby with a former school mate, his rank didn't show so I assumed he was new to the game. When we started playing, I was getting absolutely pummeled. I couldn't understand why. I mean I am usually on top of the frag list, and I generally do well, I have decent gun skills. When the match ended, everyone ranked showed and they were all nova 2+. that explained so much heh. (im silver 4)

Playing Marquis on itself will probably cause me to derank. On the other hand, I had one of the nicest almost-comeback on there. From gettingstompedon 13-2 on t side to 16-13 by the end of the match.

And then play on your main when you want to solo queue? Unless the rank differences are that big and I misunderstand.

I sincerely hope that they don't add a new gun into the mix. Sure it's fun for casual to dick around with, but as we've seen with the cz and tec9, it just fucks up the balance of the game completely, and Valve aren't fast enough with balance patches, nor are they necessarily the best at balancing in general.
