In kinda the same boat (800x600 60fps with dropping) yet I'm gold nova master (was mg2 but smurfs), yeah, a better pc helps but sometimes you just gotta live with what you have [sp] also I'm pretty sure there is some way for you to fix that because even a shitty ass laptop with an i3 iGPU can run the game at 30 stable[/sp]

Might as well start blaming people in your team. That attitude won't get you anywhere.
Also, SE-SEM is alright, in my opinion. I'm a new CS:GO player (though I did play CS 1.6 and CS:S ages ago) and I've played ~20 games with my friend that was SE. Our teams were always communicating, using mics, calling out enemies, making jokes and keeping the mood up, etc. Sure, no super pro tactics, but it was a great experience and it definitely got me hooked. Got qualified at SEM, ranked up to GN1 in a few games.

I'm always trying to get higher, but I don't have a five-man team to play with.
Too many randoms talk only their native language on the mics if they ever do communicate.
At least it usually ends up nice, even at a loss, if the team does communicate in something everyone on it understands.
I have nothing else to blame than myself anymore.

I really enjoyed watching the NiP vs NaVi game, lots of stuff to learn from it. That and I got a half-decent Glock skin at the potential expense of a pretty horrible m1014 and some other misc shit guns
So gents, after playing a match last night both me and a mate got into overwatch!
Its both hilarious and almost depressing at the same time, there are so god damn many people who just blatantly wallhack (following peoples heads through the map etc) that it makes me wonder just how god damn much money valve is making off people buying new acc's to hack.
Seriously theres no way these people arent getting banned yet theres so many of them doing it.

I haven't won 1 game the past week because a team of smurfs get into my game that go 30-7 in the first half. not to mention my team always happens to have a extra chromosome at their disposal for that extra shitty touch that not even silvers could beat.

Nah they were trying hard but after the 5-0 said they couldn't win against 'hackers' and just started doing TK and trying to kick eachother until someone abandoned.

Maybe queue up with friends and stop giving a shit whether the enemy chats, smurfs or whatever.
If you lose but perform well, and won your personal game then there is no need to cry about it, you'll eventually climb out of that, plain and simple.
But maybe it's just your attitude, not your team.
