I'd say you find someone who can teach you the basics and play with you, watch phillip's videos, play with some bots to get the hang of basic movement and shooting before hopping into real games.

So I bought something on my alt account (which is in no way linked to my main) with 0.00 in my inventory, and when I switched back over to my main, I was down 2.55. Anyone have any idea why that happened?

haven't played any competitive for a good while, mainly because me and my mates have all moved over for work/university and i can't stand solo queuing so in my first comp game in about 6 months, played the occasional casual and dm in between, i got an ace on the first round. it was a bit scrappy but still a nice welcome back gesture [vid]http://a.pomf.se/qiedal.mp4[/vid]

You shouldn't get 3 losses because your parent/spouse/whoever needs you to run to the store, or if you are with a 4 man queue who doesn't want you.
