You probably did well in these games you lost (and before them also), so the next you got a win you ranked up. It happened to me in a similar way when I got to MGE.

Just lost a game to an enemy team with two bots and a smurf.

Makes you realise what a horrible mechanic the bots actually are, because they're controllable, we couldn't just takeout their players - we then had to worry about killing their best two players, and then having them come back with instant knowledge of where we are.

Before the two guys on their team left we were destroying them.

Ideally, if somebody leaves the match, just resolve the game to a draw and leave it at that. It's not fair for either side. Or, just make the game have no effect on rank.

Perhaps Dota's solution is even better - once somebody abandons, you can leave the match with no penalty.

The match before that, EVERYONE on the enemy team either left/got kicked, until it was our team vs four bots and one guy.

What's the point in that?

If you were really getting destroyed that way, you should have focused on knocking out the bots first so they didn't have a chance to use them at all.

Dota's model is better, and I have no idea why it's not in CSGO.

A player leaves, the match is null and you can leave without penalty.

Had an amazing game on my main after like a week or 2 break.

However, a teammate decided to go long with a bizon when they were rushing on d2 and I accidently killed him after he got tagged down to 7 hp.

Then, we got into B on t side and I moltov'd the window and a teammate decided to peek and get tagged and died to my fire.

Then the last round my team flashed, at the last second I seen a CT and decided to spray, and while my team was blind someone ran in front of me and I got a cooldown :v:

I just know that was my rank up game too :[

Just a tip: you peek around corners really close to the wall. The further away from the angle you are, the sooner you'll see the other person, so you want to be as far away as possible from the angle you are peeking.

General rule: if you are closer to the angle, they'll see you first, if you're further away, you'll see them first (it's why mid peeking as a ct on dII is so hard - the other person both gets to hold the angle and also sees you a long time before you see them)
