Was just in a Skype call with two friends who queued together; sadly their team had two assholes who threw every round and would cancel any votekick against the other so the team had to stick with them. well i finally got mg1 after ranking into silver 4 (and hitting silver 2 at a low point) when i hardly knew about counterstrike and how the game worked, i know you're still considered a shitter at this rank but i feel like i've actually been improving, and not gonna stop here.

I don't considered MG1 as shit, I consider it the rank where the game gets hard. Like the next few ranks following MG1 there is noticable skill difference - but between GN1 to GN4 there is hardly any

His hacks seem to fail him in the final rounds and we just full pushed A every round. 2nd time I've ever encountered a cheater, for the amount of time I've played I guess I've been lucky.

regular or from corner?

for regular you just run and crouch jump from ramp
for corner you need to be right on the corner (but not touching it) and crouch jump, trying to land in the middle of the corner

aim is secondary to positioning imo

aiming and shooting is a mechanic, but you win matches with map control

I'm a bit confused about the CSGOLounge betting system.

I just used it for the first time, threw a few random items to kind of test out what it was like, and I guess I won because I got a new item.

The reason I'm confused is I also got all the items I put into the bet back. I thought they would keep those items and give me the new item.

If I LOST the bet, would they have kept my items and I would get nothing? Or did I get my items back when I won because they weren't anything valuable?

I'm just wondering if someone could give me a short explanation of how it works.
