The patch that just came out has started crashing my game. Goes right to desktop. No error message, nothing. Also if I jump on the car at B site in Dust 2 it kills me :v:

You can use buyammo1/buyammo2 in console to restock ammo after the update. You have to use them multiple times because they reset your ammo to 1 mag on the first use. It doesn't actually cost anything. You can get 100 reserve ammo for the M4A1 like this too. It'll still show as 40 but when it reaches 0 it'll reset back until you run out for realsies. This is, quite frankly, hilarious. I'm almost completely inclined to believe that VALVe is just fucking with us at this point. There's no way they can be [I]this[/I] incompetent at not only listening to the community and adjusting the game's balance and meta and also just completely fail on the technical side and release a patch which changes so, so little yet still manages to cause people's games to just flat stop working.

The crash is because of voice. If you set voice_enable to 0 then you won't crash. Valve probably doesn't use the in-game voice chat feature so this probably slid right past them.

Artifacts in CSGO thanks valve. This update has been a cluster fuck for the cevo players. Seeing a lot of people lose connection or drop out entirely.

Especially if the whole team needs to have it off in order to play.

Things should be fixed now, another update was released. Restart Steam if you don't see it.

Game now crashes at the end of every match, fantastic work valve. In other news, for everyone that says "Oh no! Ranks don't matter that much! Only range matters!" Just had a game of mostly Nova 1s where one Nova 2 player with 200+ hours, (not smurfing) stomped us with something like 34 kills. We obviously lost 5 - 16. This is why you should ONLY play with people of your current rank, and NOT anything higher.

For some reason, if you're playing CS:GO on a mac and you use voice chat, your voice gets input as super deep and slowed down. I was really confused why people said "what's with the voice changer bro?". I turned voice_loopback to 1 and I realized that Valve fucked up voice chat harder than first expected. Now I can't communicate properly without sounding extremely dumb and hard to understand.

Even if I predict where an enemy will be, they headshot me too quickly. I am not on a winning streak, I lose far more games than I win, and these players are NOT on the same level as me, they are so far ahead it's ridiculous, I can't do half the shit they can. Not only that, just lost a game where the other team had a smurf from eagle with 4.5hrs played. I basically only want to play with players MY rank where there's actually a chance to beat them - isn't the whole point of matchmaking you don't get put with players that are better than you?
