I lost 3 games in a row before getting ranked but im MGE on alt :downs:
played another MM game with my brother, we drew and I got my rank back. MG1 is fair since I barely play this game. sucks that we were winning by about 6 rounds at one point then choked and tied the game haha.
Gungame is pretty bad to practice in since you dont hone in your practice on core guns like the ak m4 awp You're going to be using ak m4 awp 90% of the time, might as well warmup your muscle memory on those guns?
It's not for weapons practice. It's for aiming and recoil practice. You should already be playing enough CS to get AK/M4 practice through matches. [editline]29th April 2015[/editline] I would definitely say that you use pistols and potentially SMGs just as much for eco unless you manage to blatantly stomp an opponent
Any tips for learning to aim the AK? I can use every other rifle, SMG or machine gun just fine but whenever I use the AK, the bullets just go everywhere but where I want them to go. [sp]Yes, I can even aim the Negev better than the AK[/sp]
So many people were very unhappy with how the lamppost was in mid in the map Inferno. In these changes I've made sure that the post is still in the game but I have given it a brand new spot. does anyone here use a mechanical keyboard for csgo? if you do which switches do you use? looking to get a Quickfire TK with cherry mx blues but from what i've read, reds would be better for gaming & browns for a best of both
Making it to the top ranks is so much fun, this guy was the enemy team top fragger [vid]http://a.pomf.se/fwuers.mp4[/vid] ayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy If you don't get it: [sp]I'm on the other side of the wall, on the roof, he think's I'm in apps with his wallhack because he's so bad he doesn't even know you can boost to the roof[/sp] Link to his profile: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198145716938 (Yup, justice has been served boys)

*Plays video* *BURP* Yep this is going well.

Whoo valve now shows overwatch bans. https://vacstat.us/ whoo my reddit post got autodeleted again :v:
I got those ideas long time ago but finally I get around presenting them in some pleasant form: [t]http://i.imgur.com/59aS0ii.png[/t] Reddit link
The only two of those that I feel would ever even possibly make it in are the glow in the dark one and maybe the text one. The bottom two require functions that aren't in the game, the temperature one requires too much time and effort for really no payoff.
Very good TSM-NaVi match, shame I missed the first map :C
- If a player spawns with a smoke grenade in classic competitive, it counts toward their maximum smoke grenade purchases for that round (i.e., they cannot purchase a second smoke grenade).
Office here I fucking come :D
any tips for shotgunners? shotguns/pistols are literally all I use
any tips for shotgunners? shotguns/pistols are literally all I use
I would recommend Team Fortress 2. Seriously though, play office only and pray to RNGsus that the random spread from the shotgun doesn't screw you over.
any tips for shotgunners? shotguns/pistols are literally all I use
Aim at the body and hope for headshots, aiming at the head just makes you miss every single time.
Hold tight angles, don't expose yourself to long range shots where possible. You can afford to jump around corners if you know they're there and if you can get a headshot kill. If you do well with shotgun, you'll be making a lot of money, even while your team may be poor, so buy for them wherever possible. That said, you're limiting yourself extremely if you rely on shotguns/pistols only. Rifles will straight up beat you in most situations, except the ones I've outlined above. Even then, some can beat you.

T Loadout is Sawed Off/Tec9/Armor and CT loadout is MAG-7/USP/Armor. As far as I'm aware, I'm like, the only person that's a fan of the sawed off. Still, I'd like tips & tricks if anyone has any.
Aim at the body and hope for headshots, aiming at the head just makes you miss every single time.
No, not really. I usually aim upper back/head with the sawed off, since it takes two shots to kill an armored target otherwise. It's easy money and I can usually get full nades/defuse kit without even having a need for them. If things go long range, I usually whip out the pistol.
Just played another game with a Nova 2 that dropped 39 kills against us Nova 1's When can you stop saying that only "rank ranges" matter and start accepting that if you rank up, you are noticeably better than those below? Hence why I want matchmaking to STOP PUTTING ME AGAINST HIGHER RANKS jesus christ is it that hard valve?
-snip-
Also, all these guides are useless because they all say the same thing. "Hold an angle and wait for them to walk into your crosshairs." These people making these tutorials don't understand that people won't just magically appear in the crosshair - they will either go past where you placed it, or duck, or any other random thing that makes it entirely impossible to predict. Trying to shoot someone crossing a corner is impossible unless you're lucky/have godlike reaction time, have you seen how fast people move?

Place your crosshair so you can count the floor tiles and redecorate the wall behind him with circular holes? After awhile you get a feel for it, you learn different corners need different crosshair placement. You place your crosshair so you got time to react, you learn spray patterns so you can adjust to what the other player does, you hear footsteps so you prefire it a bit and you make sure you got the best positioning you can have to not get flashed out, prefired or faked out by crouching. Might not be instantly perfect, but it's the only way you get better at it. The people making the tutorials know that the enemy won't stop in your crosshair, but there's only so much they can explain, the rest is up to you. You can (over)simplify CS down to one thing: Are you more ready for your opponent, or he for you. Sorry for the rant.
any tips for shotgunners? shotguns/pistols are literally all I use
Rush and spam long range with the M1014 [sp]this only works in silver 3 and under[/sp] [sp]I swear this isn't all I did when I was silver 3[/sp]
Is there a reason why I have to constantly restart Steam in order to play? It's really fucking annoying having to do it when I just played 5 minutes ago.

It may not be as fancy of a gun but it does the job ten times better than the sawed-off, plus it can be used on CT side if you can't afford a mag-7 somehow
