The ergonomy is great, but..

I was at first but then I saw a youtuber that I really hate using the scroll. So I stopped. Number way easier now.

Entirely possible he just comes from a competitive CS background and jumped straight into ESEA or something when he started playing GO. I personally just played a shit ton of community casual for the first couple of years I had the game and it didn't stop me from finishing placement at Silver 2. I probably had 600 hours in the game before I ever touched comp.

Actually I just have 300 hours in CS:GO, and they were mostly Comunity casuals and Mix.
I played 1.6 and CS:S since I remember how to use a computer, but never competitively, I didn't even knew Competitive Counter-Strike was a thing until Global Offensive.
I just like to read a lot about the game, seeking advice from the people that are better than me and try to improve with every match I play, learn the calls, map spots, spray patterns and all that, and then of course, practice the shit out of that until I feel comfortable to play competitive and know that my team can rely on me as much as I can rely on them to win the game
Got another ace. I 4k'd the second round so the other team didn't take long to call hacks... All with a mouse which started the round by unsilencing my usp because it did not appreciate being lifted.

It just feels unnatural whenever scroll wheel doesn't switch weapons in a first person shooter game. I may not use scroll wheel for switching weapons, but it can be relieving to just switch between all your weapons really fast.
I've got mouse3 bound to a crouch jump, and I mainly jump with that.

Bind scroll to jump, play with that for a few days and you will never go back.
Every single person that i had switch their mwheel has never went back.

it isn't physically possible to consistently hit bhops with the scroll wheel either, the game doesn't allow it
