Jumping lets you keep the speed. The problem with bhop and why its hard is because your jumps need to be as close to the tick you land on as possible. The more ticks you spend on the ground, the more speed you will lose. scrollwheel allows you to get as close as possible to the tick you land on. It's just not possible to be that accurate by pressing space. Can you hit a hop with space? Sure. Is it just as accurate and reliable as scroll? No. It's just not possible to time it like that with space every hop.

Which is actually really cool but I don't ever see any other effective applications of it.

With proper strafing you can get more than 2-3 (i can usually manage 3-4). Bhopping helps with breaking timings and confusing people. But it is worth it. Everything is so much more fluid. Targets are "easier" to shoot at when they're moving. The monitor I got the AOC monitor, so far, it's really top notch. I had a bit of trouble when I first used a 144 hz monitor. I have a 60 hz monitor and the fluidity was kind of odd at first, but it was a really good experience

I'm thinking about getting a "Gold Nova Master" tattoo. It's almost as if I broke the ranking system, because I've been stuck in "GNM" for an eternity.
