SG/AUG's also really good for 1tapping if you are not good at spraying.

imo sg should only be bought in specific situations, like it works well if you're going cat on d2 and trying to take a while a ct is on site, or defending ramp on nuke

I'm pretty sure AUG can't one hit kill against helmet. Unless it does when you are 1 centimeter close to the enemy.

By then, you're probably dead.[/QUOTE] You got 2 fingers (and actually more). Nothing is keeping you from starting to shoot and toggling scope at the same time. That's what i do most of the time. I mostly use scope to control recoil better.

I go with the AUG more than I go with the SG but that's only because I feel pretty decent with the AK or Galil, as opposed to a majority of the CT rifles which I just kinda suck with

Compensating scoped and unscoped is the same unless you're one of the crazy people with a zoom multiplier that isn't 1 or are just aiming at someone's knees to compensate. In practice it's worse if you know the recoil pattern less, but that probably applies to whatever enemy will pick it up more than it applies to you. The AUG on the other hand is awful against ecos, since it only has the same normal damage as the M4 because of higher armor penetration. Against ecos it does it's lower base damage. Still more accurate and barely more expensive than the M4, though.

I like how my SG example made everyone discuss it. I usually use an AK unless I need bigger targets for very long shooties. I feel it's really good in CT side because it's a nice defensive weapon if you're trying to hold a long angle with only one or two entries.

Played against an obvious hacker on cs_assault the other day. We were getting AWP'ed through brick walls like nobody's business.

I always get people complaining at me for using them in random MM, but when I do I usually pull off shit I wouldn't have been able to with anything but those weapons.

So close to GN1, decide to play 2 late night games, toxic team in the first, MGE smurf in the other. Fuck this shit, I was actually in a good mood before playing. Also, thanks for the AK advice. Before ditching it, I was pretty bad with rifles in general and I guess I'd improved overall because I was doing pretty well with it earlier.

Smokes chug like a mofo but otherwise its a stable 70-80 FPS with everything as low as possible. Gunfights dont lag either but anything shader related is a massive hit. Did plan to upgrade my PC in 3/4 months so i'll just soldier on, it's playable enough.

But when those $300 make the difference of being able to afford a smoke or a nade, then it makes all the difference.
