This is pretty neat, but I don't fully understand how I can try the beta. Then again I still haven't signed up for an account since I'm a lazy cunt.
How do you make a darn fire i've died of cold thrice already?
Its a lighter with fluid, a twig, and the bark/dried leaves. I just learned that today, although I never die of cold. I usually get the snot beat out of me.
This is such a fun game but the motherfucking dog man fucks me up all the time, also do abilities run out ?
The style reminds me of Fallout 1 or 2 combined with that zombie apocalypse game where you can smother your wife in the beginning.
Oh jesus, can't wait for it to be complete.
I'm debating if I should buy this but I want to know what we actually get with the beta instead of the demo.
Okay so I climb out the window and there's a fucking werewolf thing clawing at me and it kills me before I even realize what's going on. I love it.
The style reminds me of Fallout 1 or 2 combined with that zombie apocalypse game where you can smother your wife in the beginning.
It's Project Zomboid.
How different is the Beta from the Demo?
The Glow is the Detroit Mega City.
This really is the apocalypse after all...people want to head to Detroit of all places.
Maybe it's not the apocalypse after all and it's just Detroit v:v:v [editline]20th March 2012[/editline] Think about it: Raiders are actually just Detroit muggers and the beast-things are just rabid pets
How different is the Beta from the Demo?
Its a few versions infront and adds things like bits of paper that give you crafting recipes. Oh and you can save the game.
Its a few versions infront and adds things like bits of paper that give you crafting recipes. Oh and you can save the game.
Save the game? how? I haven't seen this feature yet. [tab]Edit:[/tab] Oh I see, I'm reading the blog I dont know why my game is 0.921b instead of 0.922b.

Hmm not sure why your a version behind but to save you just press escape and its on the main menu.
Just happened to me, its night time, i decide to make a little fire, no one is around me on the map, i fall asleep, GAME OVER, i was beat to death by a looter with a soup can...
If your dieing during the night make a noise trap, its some string, screws and a soup can.
Doing well on the demo, killed a few looters, almost at the glow, die of cholera.
Got to the glow then got a new quest and on the way back fucking cholera got me.
Got to the glow then got a new quest and on the way back fucking cholera got me.
OREGON HERE I COME!

was the bump really worthwile?
It's an itty bitty shame nobody has touched it since march, especially considering the updates since then, along with all the new crap put in.
Am I missing something here ?
Obviously if you haven't played it... Then no
Thanks for reminding me of this game, it's pretty fun.
so what's new since ages ago?
so what's new since ages ago?
Well, hunting for one, and skinning animals to make fur coats and stuff like that. Some new makeshift weapons.
According to the changelogs, lots. Throables such as spears, stones, slings, bows, firearms such as revolvers, shotguns, semi-auto pistols, sleds and travois, homemade box carts, flashlights, more crafting recipes, screen magnification, glass shivs, and more that I can't remember. Oh right. Last time I played this game I moved two tiles north and got ambushed and beaten to death by 3 midgets in the first town tile. (more monsters and combat can involve more than two people)

I get crashes with this when I play for a long while. Just simply exits out and all my progress is lost. alas.
What the fucking hell, my character died of a cardiac arrest as soon as I ordered him to advance towards a bandit, in the 1st turn of a combat.
What the fucking hell, my character died of a cardiac arrest as soon as I ordered him to advance towards a bandit, in the 1st turn of a combat.
There's a good batch of RANDOM-SURPRISE in this game. He hadn't been a fight, or previously been hurt or suck before that? [editline]27th July 2013[/editline] Cardiac Arrest Death due to the person's heart stoping to function. Happens after recieving a fatal amount of damage to the chest
