I think it's been so long since Episode 2 was released that they probably feel like they can't meet the huge expectations of the franchise's fanbase. Maybe it's just me, though.
Actually it's just that no one at Valve really feels like working on HL anymore.
I think it's been so long since Episode 2 was released that they probably feel like they can't meet the huge expectations of the franchise's fanbase. Maybe it's just me, though.
I think it's gone long enough that most people would accept damn near anything at this point.
end the PC conference with a multiplat that's been at E3 for the past 2 (?) years GREAT
Is it just me or was that a stack of more than one cue card on his desk??
No, Zerg-Kerrigan was evil in Wings of Liberty. But yeah, her and the Dominion.
are the protoss good? please dumb it down to black-white morality thanks my tiny brain can't understand it any other way
Enter the Gungeon was the best surprise of this conference actually looks like a ton of fun
Yeah I don't get why people are so hopeful for Half Life 3 when people at Valve are literally like "we're not that interested in doing it"
Really? It's the least cringey conference by far.
Square-Enix's conference's no-nonsense presentation left little room for cringe, this has the best host by far though.
Valve wanted to do one of these shows when no one was interested and now that they have one they don't give a shit.
Actually it's just that no one at Valve really feels like working on HL anymore.
Then maybe it's time for Valve to hire some people who are actually passionate about Half-Life.
E3 is nearly over :(
are the protoss good? please dumb it down to black-white morality thanks my tiny brain can't understand it any other way
They're a little more gray. Some are most aren't. Generally they just don't like humans though. They aren't actively destroying the galaxy though. They're just a third party, really.
How the fuck can twitch be so unbelievably shitty did it took classes?
Enter the Gungeon was the best surprise of this conference actually looks like a ton of fun
Not much of a surprise. Was announced months ago.
E3 is nearly over :(
It's been very, very good to us this year. Probably best E3 I've ever seen.
Not much of a surprise. Was announced months ago.
if i haven't heard of it it's new to me!
some are some arent soz
fuck dude looks like i'm gonna have to play through all the campaigns now no man's sky is kinda weird to me. yeah, everything looks really beautiful but what are we supposed to do? is it just exploration? what's goin' on?
Not much of a surprise. Was announced months ago.
It being at E3 was the first I've heard of it, and I'm extremely hyped for it.
Then maybe it's time for Valve to hire some people who are actually passionate about Half-Life.
Why would they though? They're getting enough money from DotA 2 and TF2 and their unstructured development team management wouldn't ensure people would work on another Half-Life anyways.
There's still like 30 minutes though. Why?
i like how he keeps asking how to test procgen content does he really not know about seeds?
Then maybe it's time for Valve to hire some people who are actually passionate about Half-Life.
The reasoning they stated was that they don't believe that they could actually meet the expectations of the HL3 hype that has built up for so long and don't want to crush people's hopes. To be fair, that's sort of understandable although I think they could make it decent if they actually did release it.
It's been very, very good to us this year. Probably best E3 I've ever seen.
true. some huge stumbles (nintendo....) but overall a pretty good e3
