Technology always get outdated. I gurantee you that in 4-5 months nvidia is going to pull some techno sorcery bullshit on AMD, and that is the beatiful cycle of PC gaming in a nutshell.
Also, these new cards don't change the benchmarks for the 970. That card is a beast.

Probably not these two people in particular, but yes a couple of Bohemia devs were jailed on suspicion of spying while in reality they were photographing around for the Altis map i believe.

The 970 is still good. By the time it goes outdated, the AMD one you would have bought instead will be beaten out by something else.
Just stick with the 970 until you can't.
