It can be a bit shallow depending on how you play it, but there's enough content to explore that it all stays interesting.
And the developer has said that he plans on adding much more complex skill trees. You can see on the site all the features you're basically investing in for the future.

It's pretty worth it. I don't know about you but I love the combat.

I think the only cheating is annoying is when it's on a server and you don't know about it until you hit a super high level. I've already had to delete five characters and now resort to playing on my own private little 2-man server because of it :(

I didn't have any shifts at work since the game came out, and so i played pretty much 8+hours a day (breaks every 2 hours) since the game released. And my friend and I found out that just gliding between all the different bosses makes it really easy to level up. - Yup, I no lifed the fuck out of it.

I don't see the problem to feed my character once a day (ingame time), cause you can make food since lvl1 and starting biome is full of ingredients for it.
For example our pet has a water meter, which depletes only while you riding your horse/dog/whatever.

After legitly leveling up a character to 124, I find it a lot of fun to cheat ( only on myself of course ) to see items he hasn't fully implemented yet, or different styles of weapons and armor. Hell, even just making a glitch sword and one hitting bosses is satisfying. However, it is a huge dick move to force level other players
I want to join SweFox's server but I can't imagine the latency will be good.

Oh my god when you can fight the +4 monsters around your level they REALLY like dropping tons of yellow items.

Looks like someone's weapon was bugged. I saw similar bug where everyone got killed by another player using his weapon.
