I had enough time yesterday to make an account, then had to wait for it to come back so I could do the registration confirmation link
nothing else though
also I like that there's a 'desktop notifications' link on the [url=http://direct.cyberkitsune.net/canibuycubeworld/]website status checker[/url], it pops up just like a gmail chat notification. Saw it once and got excited, turns out the site just went completely down. bah
this probably has been discussed before but does anyone else have fucked up multiplayer. I can see my friends working fine but i am lagging as hell, they say i run towards trees and teleport all over the places :(

Ray Adam's Tray Tools is what you want, turn it on through that, you can also do it through CCC or whatever the Catalyst Control Center is called now, by turning Vertical Refresh on

Why should I buy this game? Everyone is saying how amazing it is, but nobody has said [i]why[/i] it is so awesome. I watched a few videos on Youtube but they have mostly consisted of people running around in a huge, beautiful, but kind of empty world and fighting sheep. I assume it gets a lot better later on.
I guess summed up my question would be: What is the gameplay all about?

Then of course there is the massive amount of legendary lewt. Found a shitload of epics and rares as well but these are most important. The bracelet doesn't seem to have a model associated, which is odd. I want to keep the rogue gloves and dagger but any others I'm willing to trade (don't have a server though).

I never found stealth very useful at all. Any amount of light basically makes it useless and no matter what I did even in the dark enemies would see me despite my stealth gauge being full.

I can manage to get that loading screen on a 3.8ghz quad core using the retreat+glide thing. With just normal gliding though I don't seem to be able to stay airborne long enough for it to happen.

Your cpu is a pretty decent one though and that's what seems to be causing the fog issues. I haven't actually looked but I think when loading a new (or old) chunk the game has to go through all the algorithms for generating the land rather than generating it and saving it to disk like Minecraft.

After watching that video you make my guardian feel like a snail when it comes to getting around the world. Sure I can use the smash attack and interrupt it to get extra hight but the speed is where I am lacking.
My hopes are that things like gliders and pets will get their own abilities such as speed boosts with cool down timers and stuff.

Highly tempted to try out that Lava Lands seed. Still no Lava Lands on my server, and I tried to make the map look like Florida, but then fucked up because I went the wrong way. There's a New York-looking like structure in there I guess.

You can kinda increase your speed if you do the pounce and roll at the right time. Also, travelling the sea is a great way to get biome transfer options. Boat specs great and all you have to do is sail the open sea.

I have yet to come across an ocean even once and I travel all the time. To be honest I am actually amazed I have not come across one yet with how many biomes I have walked by.

I had a seed where 5/7 territories bordering the start region were oceans. :v:
My first world has two oceans, a snow, whatever the really colorful and mountainous one is, and a lavalands bordering it. There is one more biome that I actually haven't visited yet.
I find sailing more enjoyable than hanggliding.
All my hope for an actual ships (bigger "boat" for multiple passengers) and ability to customize them.

Swefox server crashed when we were about to finish off a +4 boss, it took ages :suicide:. It doesn't seem to be restarting either. Unless this is something that happened once on my server before. The server window doesn't actually crash but it starts refusing all connections.

Well that sucked... We were so close..
How can you guys host? I can't host anymore, when I open my server, I and other people can join it but we can't interact with anything and there's no NPCs, we can just walk around but don't actually see each others either.

You should ask SweFox. He's the one actually hosting the server.
So I bought a boat, went out on the ocean, and it won't move....

I haven't done anything out of the ordinary. I forwarded the port (12345) and started the server and it works fine.
With that said, my server is up again since Swefox server is down again and I still want to play :v:
