This is probably a dumb question but how exactly do guardians so damage? I tried sword/board earlier and my m1 attacks did like .5 per swing.
Is the Infinite HP Pot Crafting glitch fixed/widely known?
What glitch is this? I haven't heard about it and see nothing on the wiki either.
This is probably a dumb question but how exactly do guardians so damage? I tried sword/board earlier and my m1 attacks did like .5 per swing.
According to the wiki, guardians seem like they have more defence and less offense.
When you have the crafting menu up and have materials to make a HP pot, mouse over the crafting button, open the map then hold down left click. Don't run or it'll close down the crafting menu. For some reason the game thinks you have materials and keeps making HP pots as long as you hold down, I think letting go lets it detect that you have no more resources to make HP pots. It doesn't put your water flasks or heart flowers into negatives or anything.
Can alter the terrain or build houses?
Can alter the terrain or build houses?
No, and not yet. [editline]10th July 2013[/editline] Well, you can bomb terrain
is there even any point to bombing the rocks and shit?
I'm going to actually wait until 2am to buy this [editline]9[/editline] shit actually it's 6AM Who was the one who had the amazing auto register script?
is there even any point to bombing the rocks and shit?
Sometimes it opens up paths in caves to more mining spots.
is there even any point to bombing the rocks and shit?
Some caves are blocked by the rocks, you can blow them away. Some ores also spawn under these rocks (rarely)
i had an emerald one spawn under a rock(glowing, i could tell) I blew it up and turns out that rock isn't able to be blown up. :( I hope he adds dungeons with like...hidden chest or something. Some walls/floor areas would look SLIGHTLY different, and a bomb would destroy it showing a secret or something. Makes me wonder if there are gonna be booby traps or anything like that. (I know theres spikes from the floor, yet to see anything else). I love the ocean biome, just found one.
This is probably a dumb question but how exactly do guardians so damage? I tried sword/board earlier and my m1 attacks did like .5 per swing.
Block - strike back. This does up to 120 damage from what I have seen. Also your first ability deals enough damage and stuns.
Use greatswords as guardians, can work really well
yeah i kinda wanted to stick to sword and board on my guardian. oh well i guess if i find like a yellow Maul that looks like a big hammer i'll use that.
Holy fuck.
I confirm that this works Swe. Someone disconnected leaving Kinky and myself on, and it didn't kick us out, and I was using my ranger skill just fine
fuck i don't actually have $20 in my account to buy the game but i'm still gonna try to wait until i can register to make an account, and then i guess i'll just wait for the shop to be up or something. also i just realized rogues can use swords. now i'm thinking assassin but with a sword. seems like you could survive pretty well with it...does stealth impact survivability at all? Can people actually not see you in stealth?
Things I want to see: - Traps linked to pressure plates. More variety in traps. Bombs/rocks falling from ceiling, pit of fire, a hole filled with hidden enemies... - Height beacon in map (When flying, would show what position you are in when not looking from directly above) - More crafting options involving wood, iron, silk etc. class specific crafting materials. When I play a ranger, everything but wood and linen (plant fiber) are useless to me. I want to do stuff with iron, maybe craft bolts or arrow tips. - Smaller cube customization limit for low level items (spending a lot of cubes on low level items is big waste anyways), higher cap than now for higher level items. Maybe even up to 64 blocks. - Armor customization. No clue why it isn't allowed when you can customize weapons. - Allow switching through consumables without needing to hold TAB. When I'm running away from enemies and I have food equipped, I can't switch to potions without having to stop. - More consumables. Such as special ammo which could be used for bonus damage or effects (1 fire spirit + 5 iron blocks could make 50 fire bolts for instance. This way low level spirits could still be useful for higher level characters.) Special throwable potions/bombs/daggers. - More shit to craft. Never enough crafting. - Much, much larger skill tree. I know this is being planned, but the current skilltree basically has only 3 class specific nodes, 1 of which is adaptation defined. If it was up to me, the game would have a skilltree as big as in Path of Exile. Good thing I'm not the designer maybe. Example 1. An empty skilltree. Example 2. Will post later. - Hidden dungeons (won't appear on map) with fun loot. - Special weapons for each class and a new ability matching for the weapon(A ranger could use a knife, enemy which comes too close gets stabbe with slowing poison. Rogue could use a crossbow, single shot with long cooldown, crits for high damage. Warrior could use a wand/bracelet and become a spellwarrior) - Item bound spells/abilities. Rare drops from monsters, identifier can identify (for a cost) to unlock the item specific spell. Wands, staves and bracelets would have 2 spells instead of 1. - More elements with different effects, and item specific passives. Armor would get random element resistances, damage return, movespeed bonuses etc. - Actual pet district (most likely being planned) - More abilities and spells, because as if just 3 cuts it. This seems like it would be a good MMORPG, all of those have a fuckload of spells. - Runestones to imbue in weapons. Special abilities/passives to the items when imbued. A limit of 1 rune per item most likely. - Cubeworld Workshop. I know Wollay wants wants to do everything in the game himself, but the workshop could be a mod-related thing. - A cooldown on bombs. Town vendors being immune to bombs. - Autoamtic levelup rollback function in case a cheater makes everyone in the server level 12345. If you receive too much EXP over a too short duration, it reverts the level back to normal. (could backfire if you killed a bunch of tough bosses at the same time, or if a low level char gets the EXP from a really big boss) - Different foods which can grant buffs when eaten. A system which allows you to combine food randomly to discover recipes. - Scythes and sickles, flails with chain physics, spears and halberds, different shield types, curved daggers, daggers held so that the blade points backwards, nunchakus (pistols, rifles, they have bombs afterall. Not the modern type guns though.) - Less darkness at night, the game is fucking scarier than Amnesia when it is 1 AM in it. - Night wouldn't affect map. Seriously, how the fuck do I navigate at night when I can't see a fucking thing.
also i just realized rogues can use swords. now i'm thinking assassin but with a sword. seems like you could survive pretty well with it...does stealth impact survivability at all? Can people actually not see you in stealth?
In my experience stealth really isn't all that great. Light makes it useless even when it shows you stealthed and even in the dark I have yet to successfully sneak up on an enemy like Wollay has done in at least one of his videos even when the stealth meter is full. The ninja specialization for rogue is far more powerful. (For reference before I figured out how to respec I was an assassin up to around level 8 and I had trouble killing anything above blue difficulty level. Atfer I switched to ninja I was able to kill skullbulls and ogres without much trouble and they are red or orange difficulty level up to levels 25-30ish.)
fuck i cant stand the default controls I wanna have qert for 1234 c for climbing shit 1 for using whatever is in my quick item thing Is there any way to change them?

registration was up just now for about 10 seconds, missed the window aw [editline]10th July 2013[/editline] [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/tQ5Mpsg.png[/img_thumb] this seems reasonable

Sword is good, but I personally prefer daggers, they hit faster and generate MP faster, which means I get to use my special more fist weapons hit the fastest though
stealth is good when you can put 5-10+ points in to it at a time. Sword is good, but I personally prefer daggers, they hit faster and generate MP faster, which means I get to use my special more fist weapons hit the fastest though
I prefer my sword because of the massive damage and it hits multiple targets better. MP Generation isn't an issue since I play a Ninja-Rogue, so any time I evade damage I get 25 MP per miss. This is especially helpful against bosses because some bosses have some weird AoE effect they toss out that deals constant, low damage in its radius. So I can special attack and my MP immediately fills up during the attack, meaning that for about five seconds, I am special attacking nonstop. I can deal many thousands of points of damage in that time safely.
Sword is good, but I personally prefer daggers, they hit faster and generate MP faster, which means I get to use my special more
I preferred daggers until getting into a boss fight where my daggers did nothing, only my skills affected the boss and only for like 20-30 damage per hit. I switched to a crappy longsword I'd picked up somewhere and went to doing 30-50 damage per hit with just the sword. Seems with the way defense is right now, low damage but fast attack speed isn't as viable as it should be.
Here's a fix for server crashes, for those who have not seen it yet. Needs to be in OP or some shit. Edit: This is the configuration I recommend for most reliability. Using the above server fix along side CWS Restart allows for a pretty fool proof setup and will auto restart within 5 seconds if it does crash.
somehow when I unequipped the raccoon I had tamed it jumped up 30 levels
And proceeded to spawn as a boss and rape us anally. My Bark Beetle did the same thing and now we can't reequip them because they are too high of levels :(
Can Bows only use certain spirit blocks? I get some and can never seem to attach them, or even have them in a list to use
Works pretty well if you've got spirit blocks.
My daggers were both purple daggers of no fewer than three power levels below me with one having a fire spirit cube and both having as many iron cubes as they could hold. (They were each around 6.3 damage. The longsword I switched to was 11.8.)
- Night wouldn't affect map. Seriously, how the fuck do I navigate at night when I can't see a fucking thing.
press f it's not much but it really helps
