I think with Rogue's and maybe all the classes in general, the higher your MP the more likely you are to critical. Ninja-Rogues get the 25 MP I've mentioned before for every attack they dodge, so they can gain MP very quickly.

That mechanic is so annoying. It's probably so you can't trap your enemy and then spam him with arrows while he won't be able to do anything, but it's really broken and honestly It would be better if it just wouldn't be there, after all trapping your enemy is a valid tactic usually.

Its there so you can't blow up the bottom of a tree, walk on top and throw arrows on a boss while you're out of danger. It would be too easy to kill certain enemies if it wasn't there.

Nah, it's definitely 100% crits, regardless of the amount of MP you currently have.

I'm good friends with a server host and I'm prodding him in the direction of allowing people to rent dedicated servers for this - the main thing is, is there actually any interest in being able to rent your own servers?

CWS is great. It runs good and does its job well. Hopefully your server should be extra stable now, especially with the DLL injector that fixes the major crashes. I might play it a bit today. Been too busy at work to play but my friends play on my small, private server. Still trying to get my firewall at work to let me open it up and let me host, but it's being a real slut and won't work.
