Learned the hard way that clouds aren't solid
Anyone wanna play in swefox server?
Well I just battled the weirdest boss ever. It kept making clones of me + my pet to attack me, anyone else experience this?
So how in the hell is this game using 90% of all of my CPU cores?
Raw power of cubes.
Everytime i connect the server, i disconnect like after 30 seconds, is this normal?
Everytime i connect the server, i disconnect like after 30 seconds, is this normal?
This happened to me a little while ago today. I have played on the server 3 times today all play sessions a few hours apart and only the third time did this problem happen.
whoops, sorry like i said, i saw it on reddit and people said it works so I thought maybe you'd appreciate it. i think the benefit is being able to manage it when you're away from the server.
Thanks a lot. Honestly I should just be glad I have such an amazing hosting panel so I can do anything remotely already :D.
I found a triceratops that glided in the air after me roaring for about 30 minutes until he crashed into some trees and got stuck. [thumb]http://puu.sh/3BmBE.png[/thumb]
I hope the overworld theme sounds like this
Reminds me of zelda
I hope pets get a buff, or some way to train them in towns, at the moment they are pretty pathetic.
Join the server ;).
>Be ranger >Stand on top of high mountain >Jump, and press 2 >Quickly turn and press G >Glide like a motherfucker through space and time (Additional, space makes you actually gain more altitude than you had.)
Shit, this trick made me fly so fast even my character went into the blue void.
Thanks a lot.
i know wooly said no mod support but the mod scene's still going to get fucking ridiculous in a year or so when it's at release (i'm being optimistic)
The thing is though that there's not much left to mod. The terrain doesn't seem to be saved so we can't do anything with that. The most that can be done is a fully rewritten dedicated server, which many people have almost done.

[editline]12th July 2013[/editline] what do you mean the terrain isn't saved? of course it is, otherwise it'd look different every single time you logged in
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/99765/CWME.zip Here you go. Should do everything you need. Won't be working on this until wollay needs to update the format. You'll need to use a tool to unpack/pack the .cub files.
Thank you!
Messing around with the model editor Layla released, decided to start simple: It's a Goomba. A hideous Goomba, but a Goomba none-the-less.
Would you mind telling us how to get more in-depth into this? I made something in the model editor, how do I go about getting it in-game?
what do you mean the terrain isn't saved? of course it is, otherwise it'd look different every single time you logged in
No, when you input the seed when you create a world that number is used to seed the random number generator that powers world generation, which means that it will generate the same sequence every time for the same seed.
Would you mind telling us how to get more in-depth into this? I selected an onionling because it's practically a Goomba already. Then you open it in the model editor and either erase it and start anew or edit it. Keep in mind that you cannot go outside the boundaries of model, so select something roughly the same size as the model you want to create. The you save and drop the file back into the game with the asset browser. I'm not sure if you can import .cub that you've already started or whether it's just a case of renaming your file to match what you want it to replace, this is just the way I did it.

so uh rogues can fly indefinitely [editline]12th July 2013[/editline] [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/7ElmbpZ.png[/img_thumb] i'm inside a cloud
I can't find the original post so I'll have to rehost: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ti1bhfdrjhztgs4/AssetsBrowser.zip If anybody has the proper link for this please tell me.
https://github.com/VoiDeD/cubeworld-tools/releases/assetbrowser-v0.1 btw if you want to make a model with different size bounds, you'll have to edit the grid sizes in game.cfg and start a new model.
[img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/YBFm49v.jpg[/img_thumb] whee

[editline]12th July 2013[/editline] Actually fuck it, the proportions came out way too small anyway. Time to start from scratch.
yay, got an alligator
I accidentally made my replacement for a Spitter facing the wrong way in the editor, is there any easy way to just rotate it?
Should have kept it that way and named him Shitter
So I just disassembled a Spitter in the model editor. The inside of the model is pretty much 90% tan blocks. That kinda creeps me out.
Everything I open in the editor is made from transparent blocks, how do I make them solid?
