hey has anyone fully explored a single biome to see if this "one portal per biome" thing could be real?
You pirated it as well? Shame on you.
Just kidding.
Dude you scared the shit out of me
I pre-ordered the game as soon as it became available. I've been following Cube World for years :(
Worth the wait so far too, I'd say.
its in the FBI warnings on most anything, making a copy of what you own and selling it is against the law. i bet now you'd say that people hosting Private WoW servers are wrong too. they did technically pirate the server software they could get and sell special membership packages and stuff on it but the company that made the game never sees a penny in most cases. some of those people playin on those are either sick of the WoW mainstream or 15$ a month inst in the budget. some people at most pirate 1 thing, its cause they otherwise couldn't afford it and it keeps them happy in their downtime while they look for income each day. but i forgot your in europe and have none of these issues in that area your so lucky to be in some country where a bunch of morons cant elect an even bigger moron making a whole financial class suffer financial trouble. the day i got out of highschool the job decline was starting. the only job i could get was 8$ an hour 5 hours a week. did that stop me from enjoying what i love? no i temped the situation any way i could, borrowing games, using friend CD keys, and at 1 point to make sure my current rig could even handle a game well enough I've downloaded a few torrents. (and in most cases i saved myself 50-60$ i would have wasted.) so i could keep in contact with my friends and continue to have a good time till things got better and i wasn't eating ramen every night. that started 2007. is pirating wrong? yeah a little bit. is going out on a witch hunt for every pirate wrong? sounds really nazi like to me. "your imperfect and cant buy your own games you shall be ridiculed and put in a camp far from here" if you get someone that goes "yeah i just pirate everything." by all means turn em in, if hes gonna be all cocky about it he probably earned it. but a guy that goes "yeah i pirated it to see if it was for me and it wasnt." whats he guilty of? checking out a product himself before committing? is runnin a test drive wrong? yeah my thoughts get all over the place but i can see all the examples in the world that could point to someone not being some filthy poor ass pirate who likes nothing better to ruin a game company that probably sold more than he lost. i can at least see where they might be coming from, and at least acknowledge it.
edit: if the whole piracy thing was dropped just ignore it, its just my final case against witch hunting people who pirate

I can't for the life of me see how that is useful?

Yes I would fully agree. I love it insanely much even for it being alpha and nothing in it really.

It's always hilarious when people go "I'm poor, I can pirate :)))))))))"
Playing games are a luxury, you don't get to play games if you cannot afford, just as you don't get to do any other luxuries if you cannot afford it.
holy shit, wordwall
That wasn't the situation, he PM'd swe that he was a pirate. Also, it's an indie game for $20, if you don't even have $20 then you are in enough trouble financially that you shouldn't be paying for internet, much less worrying about video games.
Anyways, that's enough of that. It's a circular argument that only goes one place: Bantown.
So Swe, what's the level on your server? I want to play, but all my dudes are really low level and I don't want to be instalevelled 50 times just by joining.

540 or something. I have a newbie rouge though I can join with.

fuck it, reasoning with rich pricks never works. since they were never low on finances they can never understand it.
atleast you two can agree im funny. its a start.
I don't think being poor makes it totally fine to pirate stuff, it's still basically stealing. just because you don't have the money for it doesn't mean you're suddenly allowed to just download it.

I don't have any problem with being a "prick" when it comes to this kind of stuff because I think you're being incredibly wrong and selfish. Yes it's a shame you're having less money than other, does it give you the right to pirate? Fuck no.
You either save up or you don't get. A luxary is a luxary.
if i don't have a car then i'm completely carless, that doesn't mean i'm going to go steal a car. the fact that i do not own one or have a legal means to get one does not mean i can just get one by any means necessary

piracy for me would be, a demo. play the first few stages, chapters, hours of something to see if you like. if not, delete. you just saved a bunch of money on your luxury by not just paying based on biased gaming reviews! or save money that you now realize you should put towards a better computer so you can RUN the game when you go and buy it. or realize its not worth the 60$ they are asking.
piracy as a permanent solution is wrong. piracy as a way to test things, atleast shows interest in paying if you do want it.
you're describing an Aladdin scenario
you're describing an Aladdin scenario
why is it a whole new world for you?
any im done on the subject I've said my piece whether you chose to actually read it is your problem. if you chose to atleast accept my view, whether you agree or not. good for you your not ignorant!
more onto the topic, has anyone legitimately found a Red item? i saw it posted on the wiki but it must be incredibly rare.
dagger in right, fist in left most likely; I'm using my red-rarity dagger and another and that's working really well for me
that or whichever does more damage in right
It's actually Fist in right hand and Dagger in left, for the RMB attack so you can have something that stuns.
I just saw that it was something that consistently popped up in a longsword VS daggers thread, so I tried it out and it destroyed everything.

As much as crossbows on a ranger?
ninja or assassin?
ninja seems to be the better choice till stealth works a bit better.
assassin can work but rarely well outdoors in daylight.
ninja or assassin?
Ninja, it's more combat oriented, so it goes well with smearing your knuckles into your opponent's face.
[editline]13th July 2013[/editline]
Also I'm quite interested in that server that SweFox was talking about.
How to play ninja:
Press 3 then 1, hold mouse1, press mouse2, press 3 then 1.

You forgot the part where you dodge to get the crit status.
Requesting invite to Steam group!
Does anybody play a fire mage? They seem like they'd do great in groups, and not so great solo.
You forgot the part where you dodge to get the crit status.
thats assasin, ninja gets the mana bonus for dodging attacks.
Does anybody play a fire mage? They seem like they'd do great in groups, and not so great solo.
i do off and on. people claim water is OP so i of course go with the non OP class. that and im a pyro.

You say games are a luxury that you have to spend on, but doesn't the luxury wear off if you buy every single game :v:
Does anybody play a fire mage? They seem like they'd do great in groups, and not so great solo.
Fire mages actually do pretty well solo because of their splash damage and massive DPS due to instant charges. I'd recommend using wands for max DPS and mobility.

"Ninjas focus on dodging to build up MP and increase the damage of their special attack. A successful dodge results in a guaranteed critical strike on the next use of an ability."
So I'm totally playing assassin wrong. I always walk up to a boss or higher level creature with my stealth (2) and attack, then go into (3), use my (1) after I've blown my MP and then just repeat and wail it out. Teach me the ways.
"Ninjas focus on dodging to build up MP and increase the damage of their special attack. A successful dodge results in a guaranteed critical strike on the next use of an ability."
This seems to work for the dodge that you get from using an ability as a ninja, too. Meaning that if you dodge an attack by using an ability, that ability will crit when it deals its damage.
It's pretty great especially at low levels and for fighting stuff one on one, but against groups you're pretty squishy still (and fast-attacking bosses, esp. mages and other rogues)
Can I have an invite to the steam group?
