Then why did you not click the reply button on Swefoxes post that is what it is there for.

Good little mixture of alcohol and using a phone to type.
I've never actually seen someone calling this game a Minecraft ripoff, just people defending Cube World from these attacks. I must be on all the right forums.
Get playing guys ;).
Oh please, it's quite obvious that Cube World was inspired by Minecraft like all the other bazillion cube based games that just happened to pop up after Minecraft got popular.
That doesn't mean it's a bad thing though, it happens all the time in the industry.
exactly, what do you think spawned sonic? or crash bandicoot? or megaman? all of em are platformers but they all came after Super Mario. therefore all of em are based on that cause it was most popular. but even thats wrong.
ALL VIDEO GAMES WERE BASED ON PONG!

Sorry for the lack of updates guys. Me and my wife have been very busy the past few days, we'll be taking a short vacation tomorrow, we'll be back in a month :)
[sp]My friend sent me this, it actually scared me[/sp] :v:
A month is a short vacation? Shit.
Watch as they come back and his wife is pregnant, and Wollay has to quit development to tend to his child.

Uh, unless you're just playing along. It was a joke implying that Wollay will turn out like Notch and take vacations all the time, due to the lack of updates right now. It's not real.
Oh
Wow. I hope we don't have a repeat
That explains why a short vacation is a month
it'd be really wrong if we end up waiting a month for the next bug fix or even another peep from wollay.
it wouldn't even be a funny kind of irony at that point... it'd just be sad.
The game looks like it has great potential! Hopefully it will grow for the best in its future.
They really need to integrate some sort of mod support. This game would have some SERIOUSLY wasted potential if they don't go through with that.
Where is that file and instructions that lets you edit the models in game?
[editline]20th July 2013[/editline]
Also any north american severs in da house?
is it possible to edit the colors of the ground? i've had the idea of making some corruption like pack with terraria corruption themed enemies, props n such
They really need to integrate some sort of mod support. This game would have some SERIOUSLY wasted potential if they don't go through with that.
as it is, i dont think hes going to do mod support. not any time soon anyway.
if it was me though and i was done developing a title i'd atleast leave it with that.
Is this how you play guardian?
Use primary attack, build MP, and then block and counterattack for big damage?

If you block just before an attack the meter charges up instantly and you can do the counter-attack much faster

If I were him I'd start with mod support right now, reason being it gets a lot harder and you lose way more time adding it later than building the game from the beginning already with mod support.
Man, this game rocks, i have a pet plainrunner, he is the best.
I call him Barry :downs:

I don't think he intends to ever add mod support. I think he has a mindset that his game shouldn't need mods and he doesn't seem to like the idea of people messing with his project.
I've decided that I'm just going to have to get Cheat Engine and level my Snow Runner so he's up near my level. He's 32, I'm over 160.
I have no clue what I'm about to do.
Maybe I'm doing something wrong but is the early game supposed to be really slow? I feel like all I'm strong enough to do is run around killing the week critters you find. Is there anything else I should be doing?

Early game goes by really slow. Basically just kill a few of the weak critters while exploring.
Eventually you might find a dungeon where you can kill the boss.
Does anyone know how to manually restart a server?
I'm using Hamachi to host a server for myself to play on, because without it my game stutters and becomes near unplayable.
Recently my game just won't spawn any monsters and I can't pick up any items. It just broke. Google just shows me server tools that do auto-restarts and stuff, but I just want to manually do it once.
I've tried closing and opening cubeworld and server.exe, and I have tried turning Hamachi off and on again. None of these things have worked and my server is still broken.
Any ideas?

I've had that problem, where i couldnt pick anything up and nothing spawned. had to reinstall the game to fix it.
honestly it seems port forwarding is the way to do it rather than hamachi. i've joined some servers for similar things like Terraria, server in the same state i come to find out later. it was laggier than just forwarding ports so maybe try taking hamachi out of the equation?
