MC was Notch's baby and even he wasn't self centered to try and do it all by himself, he got a team that (kinda) knows what its doing without ruining the original creation.
but one can dream of teh day wollay will break down and do it, i'd really like to see this game go far but, if he one mans it at the rate hes going it'll be done in 7 years.
I've tried to use mods in Minecraft but all I end up doing is an endless cycle of trying something new, getting bored, install something else. I can certainly understand modding for other people and servers, but I'm a person who likes to keep it vanilla.

some MC mods are pretty amazing and add a whole lot to the game, like Aether and Divine RPG add a ton of stuff.
the problem is every update mojang does, breaks it. and then its another 5 months of redevving it so it works on the new version.

Really? Well thats just balls. Drops a big portion of how much fun the game can get.
Just because he won't support modding doesn't mean we won't be able to do it. Minecraft is a safe haven for modders yet Mojang has done minimal to reinforce it. (though they did recently reformat the texture pack stuff or whatever, but that was the first thing to happen in years)

I can understand not supporting modding, but actively working to not allow it just seems like a waste of time and money.

i might start testing again once hes gotten a better way to report bugs than just e-mailing him or barking at his twitter and then never hearing a thing from him. i'd be happy to help report bugs but i dont wanna flood his inbox with repeats everyone has already pointed out to him. it would be counter productive.
Man this game gets so much better once you start getting strong enough to pick your own fights.
But.... Would anyone give me the eye if I used a character editor to beef up my level enough to get to the meat of Cube World?

I find it justifiable to test the lategame when leveling early game is so damn slow hard. Lets you try out different classes too without needing to waste too much time leveling them.

I think it's totally justifiable right now. The rate it takes to get to a point where you can explore and enjoy anything is too slow at this point, especially if you play solo. I bumped myself up to level 15 and that seemed like a decent starting point for a rogue.

If you're not going to cheat then go on random servers and cause trouble then there's no reason anyone should have a problem with it. At that point if you ruin the game for yourself it's your own problem and no one elses' concern.
atleast the recent update wollay did fixed 1 way to troll with the day reset from the inn. now its time specific. beyond that i dont know of any real ways to troll, bombs dont seem to do much.
