*post tweet* wife is making me do chores, no development today :( ^ that would be acceptable. though i guess pixie's twitter would get harrased but still.
damnit my brother just spent like all the money he saved on this game. He was on the fence about using it to buy starbound instead. I wish I read this first.

combat in this game feels kind of terrible. The enemies are just as fast as you and get up in your face as soon as you stop to attack. Is there something I'm missing?

I think the combat is awesome and the fact the the enemies give you a challenge is nice. They don't just stand there and take it.
This game was so much fun when it was first released, I really hope that update comes out soon, I feel like its missing something "special" right now.
i honestly wouldn't mind a few more skills for each class. maybe also being able to play solo and have enemy damage scale so a Warrior, like mine, in super epic gear, isn't 2 shotted by +4 bosses for his level... maybe nerf magma golems a bit. oh and make it so you dont have to be level 1974 or whatever to attain power level 100. and have pets acquire quest XP. theres a LOT i'd like to see in the next update i might see at most about an eighth of it.
I really like the customization idea. WoW for example has a bunch of different textures and models for weapons, and sometimes you get a weapon that is better than your current one but doesn't look even nearly as good. This fixes that problem. Also, it's a lot more fun to make them yourself than just getting a pre-made model.

i actually played a little on my low level mage, not so fun all alone, but with how Multi is its atleast semi stable to play alone, though stuff is still unbalanced so its nearly impossible to get anywhere. edit: also i doubt he'll write back anytime soon, but i sent in a e-mail to wollay asking about his silence. if i get any sort of answer i'll put it here. unless he actually does what i suggested which is to put some word on twitter about wtf is going on.
My pc decided it had enough waiting and deleted the game for me. God damnit, I lost my saves.
It's almost as if the game has been completely abandoned.
That's what worries me; sad to say, but they seemed like they were going to be the developers that updated or gave us information constantly, but I haven't seen much the last patch.
its how wollay is, he hides inside his wife for a few months then releases a bunch of things. rather than going "hey guys this is what i hope to hammer out for the next update so if you hear nothing thats why."
So what exactly is featured in the alpha right now? everything that is on the main page of the website?
So what exactly is featured in the alpha right now? everything that is on the main page of the website?
Yes. Everything that's not stated otherwise should currently be there. If you're interested, I'll actually just sell you my account at a discount if you're looking to buy it.
I wish to know more about the game first. Can monsters/NPC's attack villages? is there roaming NPC adventurers? can you find them in dungeons? do they move around the world even when you are not there? do they get into battles with other NPC's.
theres still a lot to be implemented but a good chunk of whats on the site is there in the game already. most of the issues people have right now is class balance, combat balance, and the platinum coins as well as EXP gain and a few other numerical variables. otherwise its still a neat game to play, With friends. i would not recommend it for alone time. it can get dull after a few sessions. so plan on playing with 3 others and someone be able to host a game.
Has wollay still said nothing?
Has wollay still said nothing?
yep. With luck he will break the silence soon enough.
i doubt anyone will hear anything but do this, go to his site, go to the about section (i think) send him an E-mail to his address, and jsut ask why hes not said anything to his waiting public. i've already sent mine but who knows, maybe if enough are sent he'll say something. to someone.
i *really* want to play this game again but ive literally already done everything
I would of bought this game months ago, if it didn't force me to use Paypal. Anyway has this game been updated at all since it's been released?
I would of bought this game months ago, if it didn't force me to use Paypal. yeah its been about 2 months you'd THINK even if it is just 1 guy some fixes could be implemented further, or even some rebalancing of the Platinum coins. maybe make it so crafted items can be Adapted. i really could write a book on what all needs done that would be simple code changes for the moment till a more balanced thing can be done.
All we can do is hope that he's working on a big update in private.
what if he's dead
