Holy shit it looks real good! Why are people comparing this to minecraft alot? Just cause of the voxel graphics? But any way i love minecraft but i would love to play this.

Because squares and cubes are the sole copyrighted property of Notch and Mojang. Nobody else in the world can use squares or cubes in everything or else it's a minecraft rip off.

I don't think a lot of people are saying it's a ripoff, more than it has similarities, which it does. but, does it matter? no, all games have similarities with each other, so i don't see the point in caring unless it's a blatant ripoff.

No. There are cynical people out there who view anything relating to voxels as a minecraft cash-in. and they're right to an extent, a very small one, but still, you cannot really say that cubeworld would exist if not for minecraft.

Cubeworld might have been partly inspired by Minecraft but it's really not at all similar. Minecraft and Terraria share more similarities than Minecraft and Cubeworld from what I know.
i think the inspiration to make cubeworld was due to minecraft coming into being any similarity is just due to the fact everything is cube based minecraft was one of the most popular cube based games put out there so of course people will associate right off the top of their heads terraria with minecraft and cubeworld with minecraft and if by some amazement people that play starbound but never saw terraria or have no idea part of the terraria team made starbound, of course they'll say its like this or like that. but the creator has a different vision for how it'll play, rather than a infiniminer its gonna be a more complexe combat oriented game. which will be a welcome change from just, "oh no zombies" *brandish sword* ClickClickClickClickClickClickClickClickClickClickClickClickClickClickClickClickClickClickClickClickClickClick its dead.
Wollay said there would be gamepad support, i may give it a shot when its out and see how well it feels.

I didn't realize that Cubeworld was even comparable to Minecraft in any way except terrain. Which is arguably magnitudes better looking than Minecraft's.
