Minecraft is $20 iirc, why is everyone bitching this has a ton more effort put into it than minecraft has or ever will have.
Anyway, has there been any updates on being able to make accounts? I really wanna get it now.

I made one before the whole thing crashed, but since im not really gonna buy the game ( broke as fuck as usual) i guess i could give it to you, and you change the password n shiz

I bought Minecraft when it was like $15, back when classic was the only available version.
Regardless, nobody's really bitching.
I've been watching this for so long, I thought it was never going to come to something. I was pleasantly surprised to hear that there was a shop page up today, though. Can't wait for it to actually work!
If buying the alpha gets you access to all the future versions, I'd pay be more than happy to pay that.

Even if it has 1/5 of the playtime I got out of Minecraft, it amounts to more than that. Even from the early videos it looks like it has an amazingly high amount of content from launch - which is part of why it looks so interesting.

If you guys can stand the yogscast honeydew and littlewood have like 3-4 early acess videos up with more coming from one of the recent builds.

You are correct, but look at it this way. It will make more sense.
You're buying the full version of the game which includes early access.

I'm not a huge fan of the name, and I don't care for the logo they're using for it either.
Maybe it's just the colors, but it doesn't feel like what the game is to me.
