unfortunately, no. you have to buy/make a base weapon and then you can add up to 32 blocks onto it.
it'd be cool if you could just by a sword hilt, but what's here now is fine for me.

Also I highly doubt that's going to do anything to dent the sales of Cube World. Minecraft was "pirateable" in alpha and look at how it turned out.
Cube World will be fine.

does anyone playing know how to hotkey a food item if thats even possible? havent figured out how to and that would be helpful

there is a server.exe so im geussing yes

all food items are stored in the quick menu.
you can change which potion/food is in the quick slot by pressing tab and then a/d. You can use quick items by pressing Q.
I wonder if hamatchi works.
