Looks great, but you say it has what minecraft and terraria has and more yet no mining/digging which is kind of the main feauture of those games.
Still I'm looking forward to it!

Not in alpha or beta anymore, theyre on a full release version.
Its good that the main focus in not mining, so more attention can be spent on RPG elements and and adventuring

This looks really promising, although I do not like the characters as much. Seemed a bit "anime" like. Nevertheless it looks awesome.

They honestly were a lot more Zelda-like to me. If you look at one of the playersmodels from the precise thirdperson bird's-eye-view angle, it actually does look a lot as if it were a 3D Zelda sprite. (Probably more so Four Swords than any other Zelda game)
Why do you care about what the characters look like, considering most of you play minecraft, I'd think you guys wouldn't care about graphics THAT much.

But seriously, this looks interesting, like a loot-based exploration and combat RPG with customization and world-building. Reminds me of 3D Dot Game Heroes, except not quite as blocky and less Zelda-parody.
major selling points for me are
BEV building, customization, block destruction.

If no one realizes the debate against minecraft, and this, minecraft was originally made by Notch, the one who messed it all up, Then it went to Jeb, who is actually making the game, tons better than what Notch could do.

I am disappointed in the no digging thing. Making sprawling underground bunkers was always my thing.

This game is more for me because I was much more interested in pure exploration than construction
Don't see why we can't have more customization like dot game heroes, can't he just implement the editor he is using, ingame?
This looks amazing, it will be fun with friends. But it cant fill the spot of Minecraft considering Minecraft is about Mining, Surviving and Building.
I'm so glad that 90% of these posts are "I want to give this dev my money because his game looks amazing"
It's threads like these that make me doubt my reasons for hating gamers.
Well there's also the fact that he's confirmed on his Twitter that it will not be a free game and that you will have to buy it. :v:

While this looks rather good, it seems like the developer is adding limits for no apparent reason (with regards to the lack of destruction of blocks and customization in particular). I'm going to remain optimistic though.
