I thought name colour is stance on you and HP-Bar colour (before hurt) is their strength?
Can anyone help me out here. I'm hosting a cube world server and my friend joins but can't interact with drops or npcs etc.
Purple are special named mobs.

Other way around.
Starting my server again, 2 people can PM me if they want.

Ah well, was tired of this region anyway and I just found this huge ass ocean biome, fighting underwater is pretty neat.
Does anyone else have an issue with the map going all blue?

You need to zoom in.
I heard you don't get punished for dieing in this game.
That kind of sucks.

Why?

You will be dying a lot.

I don't know, just makes it kind of too laid back I guess. If I don't get punished in some form when I die I am not very interested in fighting for survival, makes the game kind of boring. It's like Path of Exile, the game got so boring because the combat wasn't tense added to the fact that when you die you don't lose gold, health, items, anything.
It's like when you are fighting an epic boss, games like that just end up feeling too easy because you can just constantly go back there and grind out the fight without worrying about losing anything at all.
The only exception really is FPS games and linear adventure games.

If you die, the guy you were fighting will get all his HP back.

It won't work here at this point because truth be told there's very little strategy to any fight.
Melee enemies run towards you at the same speed you run, meaning there's no kiting.
Ranged enemies are pinpoint accurate unless you're running, aka if you want to try hitting a melee enemy on you, they will hit you.
cubeworld isnt survival
that being said i wish there were some sort of death penalty so it's maybe a lil unforgiving
that also being said it needs to get balanced out more before that happens

I picked sword and shield warrior
what is this difficulty you speak of :v:
In my first day I managed to:
Suicide Run a palace of humans at level 2
Fail in the Suicide Run
Kill a Boss Sheep
Kill a Boss Collie
Return at Level 4 and run the palace normally
Get lost in a massive cave network inside a mountain
Run an Orc Castle at Level 5
Tame a Lemon Beetle
Beat a Boss Skeleton in some ruins at Level 6
Reach Level 7
Get my Hang Glider
Find a massive Troll
Get annihilated by the Troll
Climb a Plateau so high I was inside a cloud
That Skeleton Boss was a nightmare, he chased me 1/4 of the way across the biome. I had to climb mountains and trees just to get a moment to heal because I ran out of potions. Only reason I beat him was because I ran across a pair of friendly Orcs. This game is brutally punishing, but a lot of fun. I hate my current biome though, its just a generic hilly forest. I want a snow biome, I have soft ice and want to capture a penguin.
sorry ok the port for this game is 12345 right
My character broke somehow and now I can't ride my collie.

I tried restarting the game and even went on a new map but my character refuses to ride anything.
Bring the collie to water. He needs to drink before you can ride him again

I am not wanting it to be a survival game, but I mean the feeling of overcoming your enemy and surviving a fight should be a feeling you experience in every game where you fight enemies. I don't get that feeling in mostly non-linear games if literally there is no negative aspect of dieing other than going back to where you spawned. It doesn't give the game spice in my opinion, it's just dull. It's fine for linear FPS games and such though cause it's about the adventure more than accomplishing your own goals.
Got my copy yesterday morning and now my archer (bow) is level 19, nearly 20. I also love collecting animals, I got: A horse, A collie, Monkey, Sheep, Beetle, Biter, Alpaca, and a hornet.
Also, Retreat and hopping while on a animal makes you go flying so far; it's awesome!
Seiteki showed me the ways of hang gliding, and I fell in love.

Well, go north.
I feel like a mosquito trying to suck blood, but I get smashed every time. :smith:
