Y'know if you have that skill where you dart back as a ranger, you can just glide, face your camera the opposite way and hit it and you'll go flying just as fast. you can cover an entire biome in like a minute
bosses are pretty crap at the moment imo (at least for me), take so many hits to kill and in the end all i get is a bunch of shitty drops

I believe it depends on location/biome, type of monster, what monster it is and then I think they also have a set amount of skills which the system compares with you to tell you their difficulty. I'm not completely sure though.

Also, anyone having trouble using sword n board warrior? I'm never able to draw aggro and get wrecked just as bad as my team of mages and rogues despite them having less hp. Kind of pointless to play since you do shit damage and get wrecked in the process.
It's the pets hydration meter. They need to drink water from a river when it's gone. When they're dehydrated you can't ride them.

Disclaimer: Don't get me wrong. I like the game. But wollay is fucking incompetent.
Seriously - he knew well in advance that here he had an incredibly popular game. Cube World has gotten the exposure and hype of Minecraft - literally, as it was promoted [i]by the people who made Minecraft[/i]. And as far as we've heard he's partnered with them, so he should have access to the resources of the company that keeps online services for [i]one of the most popular games in the world[/i] running.
And despite having access to the resources and the information to infer that he was going to need them, most of his infrastructure is clearly insufficient. Obviously he has a lot of people trying to buy his game! People have been screeching for it for over a year with no sign of stopping. News outlets have confessed wanting it, meaning he could easily expect coverage of the launch from them (actually, I don't think any have! Imagine how many people [i]have missed it[/i]) And he didn't think to see about provisioning some extra infrastructure to handle the demand.
And just an added salt to the wound: The port you have to host on, port 12345, has up until now been used almost exclusively by malware, so it stands to reason some services might block it. This apparently includes most Australian ISPs or most Netgear routers; as of my group of friends, not a single one of us can open port 12345, and we all have Netgear equipment as it turns out. It's literally the only port in the entire 12000-13000 range that's not available for use. So that sucks for us. And since the port is hardcoded in the client I can't even write a quick reverse proxy to pipe connections from another port to that one.

Don't know if its been posted but apparently you should enable vsync and triple buffering or at least cap your FPS to your monitors refresh rate (60, 120), else you get a toasty GPU because it's working over time producing unnecessary frames. Not sure if my GPU was actually getting hot but capping it at 60 fps can't hurt.
