I've noticed now after playing a while with a friend that these mobs start coming up with +'s, like +1 or +3. Hardest one we found was +4, and the problem is that any of these except +1 wreck us and +1 mobs and bosses take ages to even really hurt. What is with this difficulty is it random or are these because we've reached certain levels?
UGH, I wanna host but it will crash :<. Anyone wanna get on.
[editline]6th July 2013[/editline]
ALSO, that auto-restart thing. When the server crashes you have to press "ok" and the server restarts. is there a way for the error windows to close itself?
I would join, but if it is just going to crash after a bit, I'll just hold off for now.
Also, I am level 28 on my Ranger.

I only notice those in stronghold areas or leader/master areas, even on my level 28. I'm not too sure how that works.

Well every server crash so its not really something anyone can do anything about.
So does that mean all named areas have bosses and now that we are higher level they will always be +1 or more? its getting annoying to fight nearly any boss without taking ages.
Besides WOLLAY.
Its random where they are, albeit based on the seed generation. But yeah, they're basically just scaled up versions of their normal variants. I ran in to a +3 forest full of various red undead, so skeletons, frighteners, zombies, and undead race. Plus a boss skeleton up in a tree that killed me in one hit. With them being red already, that +3 just means that area is off limits likely forever.
I'm really not looking forward to what the cost of adaptation upgrades will be at higher levels: http://i.imgur.com/zUxLWmn.png
(This is just one of two that were in the 700+ range for cost with another being 640ish.)
How do I make this stop running my graphics card at 80c
retreat is so fucking ridiculous, I've learned how to time my jumps perfectly so that I barely lose any of my momentum on each ground contact. I have literally traveled what would take 10 minutes on mount in 30 seconds
scouts confirmed for being the best for scouting
Cube World is horrible for a sense of progression... I'm level 120 by now and I'm still taking 30 minutes to kill blue and up bosses. I don't feel nearly as strong as my character should.
Does anyone know how to force vsync through nVidia control panel? I've forced it on both the launcher and the game executable but it doesn't actually do anything.
If you're a rogue, yes.
I was hosting a server earlier and used the third rogue skill quite a bit without a single crash. Only crashes I ever had were after someone disconnected from the server. (Which was a guaranteed crash.) Also this game uses up a shit load of cpu. I have a 3.8ghz quad core and having both the game and server running averaged 90% usage per core.
Also being a level 14 rogue partying with a level 18 shield guy and a level 21 mage is not fun. The mage rarely ever died, the shield guy would die like 15 times for every time the mage died, and I was dying around 4-5 times as much as the shield guy because things would hit me so hard that I couldn't even hit the heal button before I died. And it's really fun trying to follow people with gliders when you don't even have the glide skill and they insist on leading you up to clifftops where the only way forwards is to go back and around, glide off the top, or jump off the top and hope you respawn in a better location.

You don't. If you want to edit your weapon, go to the blacksmith and see the customization table.
Incorrect
1. It's the Ranger 3rd skill that causes instant crashes. Swiftness causes server.exe to INSTANTLY shut down, it was happening on my friends server and we finally realized it after he mentioned hearing about the bug as i was tapping Swiftness at the same time, killing the server.
2. You can adapt weapons, you bring them to the adapter and right click them in your inventory. Once you've done that, you can either adapt higher level weapons down to your level for free, or the other way around for a price

Blue bosses are still colored depending on their threat/difficulty towards you. It should be whites that should be super easy to kill. They change dynamically depending on your stats and theirs.
Also, level 120?? Holy crap... I have been playing hours on end playing multiplayer and singleplayer doing dungeons and I'm only level 30(edited: accidentally put 31)

If you want to feel strong then fight white mobs.

That's not happening on my side at all and my friend and I have been using it for a few hours on his server. Not sure why, could be because it was only us two playing and maybe some other factors.

Don't get me wrong, I fight plenty of white mobs. But when doing dungeons or other quests, there isn't really a choice to fight white mobs. I just think that the enemy leveling should balance out somewhere, instead of keeping blues hard to kill, it should spawn more red that scale just as well.
Fuck I fought a +4 named snout beetle for an hour and all it dropped was a +74 unholy spirit and +98 white gloves :(.

I get what you're saying, but Red mobs typically are supposed to be the mobs you're supposed to avoid.

Limit your FPS and force VSync on your card.
If you have Nvidia, you can open your Nvidia control panel and find the Cubeworld.exe file and enable triple buffering, enable vsync, and all that other good stuff. You can also improve antialiasing even further.
ALSO CAN HE FUCKING FIX PETS LOSING ALL THEIR LEVELS I SAD
Why doesn't he just add a vsync option? It literally takes 5 seconds.
I have 1 gold in the game.
Also, 188.95.224.58
Best part about this customization thing is making cool floaty bits

How do you do the floaty stuff?
You add bits, then you rearrange the bits after they are placed.

Minecraft style :)
I think the biggest problem is disproportional xp value of things. Some white or blue mobs that are almost instantly killed give me 12-15 xp where as some semi tough or hard orange or red monsters give you 8 or 10 sometimes. some white monsters are harder than others but give less etc.
I made a katana that I think looks pretty neat, if that counts

once I get more level ~40 fire spirit blocks it'll have floating embers around it.
I don't get why my usual hit deals 0.5 - 8 damage and any kind of wild monster piece of shit deals up to 60

Does adaptive vsync not work on the game then? Because I forced vsync and triple buffering for cube.exe (and after that didn't work, the launcher) yet I still render at anywhere from a low of 90fps to a high of around 130-140.
