is there any effective way to level your pets?
Every time I kill a boss it'll pop up roughly a level, but it'll die in the next fight and lose the whole level

I'm pretty sure that it losing its level, exp problems, etc is a bug that Wollay needs to fix. It doesn't happen to me in single player, but it happens in multiplayer.
I think I can pretty reliably do blue named temples/ruins/catacombs now.
The other types seem a lot harder though.

God dammit. I'm sorry but IMO this is just going to ruin things more than it's going to help because your character is the same on every server. People are just going to hack their way to level XXXX or whatever and give themselves the best of absolutely everything and take the fun out of the game.
Buying this game next time the shop opens up, hopefully it's worth it.

I have been going at it solo and reached level 9 and feeling proud but knowing there are people out there who can just give themselves all the gear they like and level up at will rewinds it for me.
I hope something can be put in place so servers can only have legit gear unless an option is ticked to let anybody in.

it was bound to happen sooner or later. I'm only using CE atm to find if A) you can add totally bullshit modifiers to your weapons and B) find a way to make a teleport script
I was really stoked for this game but somehow it just isn't any fun.
The world is huge and I haven't found a way to fast travel so it takes ages to get anywhere. Most of the enemies are too high of a level and all the bosses certainly are so there's really not much to do. It takes forever to level, too.

I am sorry but I am not killing bunnies for over 5 hours. I got myself up from 3 to 6 level with cheats and I regret nothing, because it's not dayz for dying to be fun here.
The game is addictive, but it lacks little details. It's like the developers just don't pay attention to the details and focus on general things.

I'm lv11 at the minute, playing solo, and at no point have I felt like I was grinding.
See this is why Wol Lay didn't want to release it in the first place. We all were expecting things to have problems in the game, but nothing is game breaking other than what you are doing now. Cheating is going to have to be stopped, and If i were you guys, i would start hiding your ip for your servers from these people...

Edit: Also if you need to kill bunnies at low level like that, you are obviously doing it wrong and you suck at video games. Don't try Dark Souls, because these games actually require thinking. You can get around the world perfectly fine at a low level, just don't fight major bosses yet.
Heck, if my 9 year old brother can do it, you can too, maybe...he's level 19 already soloing everything himself.
The game is only a grind if you don't try to do everything it has to offer.
Some simple tips to having fun and avoiding a grind.
* Craft stuff. Set out to find specific items to create your own gear and upgrade your weapons.
* Tame pets of all areas. Like Pokemon you gotta catch em all so try to collect all pets from every part of every biome it is really rewarding.
* Explore all the biomes. This seems simple but it is more fun than you might think this game can generate some really interesting biomes and areas to be in.
* Try to find all mission types for each biome. From pyramids to castles or at the top of a tree if you have not been to fight in them all you are missing out.
* If you have yet to play this game with other people multiplayer adds to the fun with this game.

Try to keep in mind this game has only become open alpha a couple of days ago so think of all the possible stuff to come in the future if you find it boring now.
And finally remember this game is not being made by a giant team of people only Wolfram von Funck and his wife Sarah von Funck so development will probably take longer than other games.
